Nice report, but the paint job on the plate was awful, and you should definitely have played your steak more aggressively. Also, fries make a better mount than mashed potatoes.

Great job on the report. That steak was beautiful. :D otherwise, that shaman was just BASHING through that army! love the orc shamans... as long as you don't miscast. about 3/4 of the miscast table is either death or take a wound and deal out wounds to everyone around it.

These videos make me really nostalgic! I played HE when i was a kid and I just grew out of the whole scene (not being trying to be patronising, there is nothing wrong with enjoying this game as an adult). I'd love to have a little game again some time but it's not really possible, unless I have some kids and then buy a bunch of models 'for them' which i 'help' them paint and 'advise' them how to use in battles...

i played my friends wariors of chaos list. We did a 1.1k battle.

i won by a wopping 1.1k victory points by charging in first and breaking his units, and also managed to snatch all four table quarters

my bor collects chaos but i collect dark elves, i would win but he has loads of chaos warriors any tips?

i havn't got much experience with Chaos(1 battle against warriors of chaos) and i won because of luck nothing more. but i do know dark elves really good(a friend living nearby collects them). i usually lose against him. you should not bother about table quarters just assure hat he cannot take more than 2 table quarters, an be protected against flank attacks(does ur "bor" has much fast cavalry deployed at one side of the table, hes going to flank you and hard!)

Actually the steam tank only gets a 4+ save as far as I know, str 5 + armor piercing = not good for things in the way.

buy a pack of minis and paint them. even a terrible painter(like me) gets better over time, and even bad painting looks good when your whole army is painted

practice! almost everyone starts as a bad painter, and as has been said a simple painting style can look really nice over a whole army.

Choose Tomb Kings, most of the army can easily be painted with a very simple colour scheme.

I liked this Battle report! I play Orcs and Goblins, they are not only fun to play but fun to paint (except for the hordes of night goblins...)

@screwnacorn, I have seen many Orcs and Goblins tournament armies contain 2-4 spear chukkas (2000pnt) and usually 2-3 blocks of 20-30 orc boyz. Not sure if this is optimum but I would like to have all that brute strength and firepower on my side :)
