  • Видеть это-настоящее наслаждение!!!

  • Can someone tell me the name and composer of the slow piece that they do in this program? I have been trying to find it forever!

  • @bridgeoverthestars I think it's called History of Love but I could be wrong about that. Many skaters over the years have used this music like Torvill & Dean, Grishuk & Platov, and Navka & Kostomarov. I'm not sure about the composer though.

  • @gk891 Yes, it's usually called "Historia de un amor" (Story of a Love) or "Ya no estás más a mi lado, corazón" (You're no longer by my side, my love), for its first line. It's a very popular bolero by Panama composer Carlos Eleta Almarán. He wrote it when his brother's wife died. Search for: LUIS MIGUEL HISTORIA DE UN AMOR con letras en Inglés y Español

  • @Noahllie Thanks. I didn't know who the composer was so thanks for that information.

  • @bridgeoverthestars Song 2:00 / 3:18 Historia de un amor (love story) by Carlos Eleta 1955

  • AMAZING , Thank you very much for this. I am a HUGE K&P fan but I have to admit I have never seen anything of their before the 88 Olympics .

Even back then no one could top them.

The have the smoothest edges and cleanest lines of any ICE DANCING team.

This FD is near perfection, just didn't like the side by side splits, it broke the flow too much.

Surely they cant still be skating 20+ yrs later !

    AGAIN THANK YOU .

  • This is completely unbeatable!!

What do you mean they didn''t win?

  • just great.

  • Love Them

  • Bravo! Excellent! je ne trouve pas des mots!

Mais ils etaient seulement deuxiemes! Bestemianova et Boukine avec leur CARMEN. C etait un chef-oeuvre, hors de commun!!!

  • This is my favorit Klimova & Ponomarenko program. I watched it live during their exhibition performances for two evenings straight. 23 years later, this is still one of the best programs ever.

  • The best Free Dance they ever produced even when they became European and World champions.

I would given them two 5.9's

  • My god! they do incredible things making them look like soft and effortless

  • If the rules back then focused on the technical as much as they do now, Klimova and Ponomorenko would never have lost. At least not after Torvill and Dean retired. I still think they are the greatest ever skaters and definitely greatest ice dancers.

  • I agree. With the rules like they are now they would have won silver behind Torvil and Dean at 84 Olympics and Worlds, then won the next 8 Worlds and 2 Olympics in a row probably. The new rules are perfect for them since they are unbeatable almost technically.
