  • You play a lot like Glenn Gould!

If he were alive, he must have been pretty impressed!

Could you post more songs? I also hope you could be my teacher! Glenn Gould and Chopin1986----the best piano players of all time......;. :)

  • You did a splendid job imitating Gould, but I would advise you to develop your own style of playing Bach and just use Gould as a reference. I think he would have liked that better too

  • excellent job!! I really like gould's interpretion, and you sound just like him:)

  • It's rewarding to know there are still young people like you around. It takes a lot to really appreciate Bach abd accomplish such a rending. Congratulations!

  • @moreira7daniel THANK YOU sooo much!!! I really appreciate your comment!! OH... there is not one day for me without Bach!! =) I am happy that you like my interpretation!! Kind regards, Deniz

  • @Chopin1986 I need Bach as I need air! It's good to find people who love him too. Unfortunately I can't play the piano so well any more...

    Kindest regards!

    Daniel

  • el sonido de mi piano está bastante bien ... la grabación tiene un sonido malo ...

    thx for your comment!!

  • Nice name Chopin :P

  • :) Thx... but your is a good name, too!

  • don´t try to imitate glenn gould. find your own way to play bach. use glenn gould´s playing as a fundament.

    well played!

  • Yes, you're right... every musician should find his own way!!! Thanks for your comment!!!

  • I think you have understood bach.

  • I hope so!!!

    thank you!!!

  • Wow, very good. If this as you say, a rendition of Gould's interpretation, then it makes great musical sense and does justice to the ambition of this contemplative theme. Good expression, good control, good tempo, and I loved the momentary pause before the digression into the intermediary movement at measure 10/11. Beautiful, very tastefully done.

  • Thank you very much for this wonderful comment!!! You listened to my interpretation very carefully... you seem to have a good knowledge about Gould!!!! Well, I'm happy you like it!!

    Best wishes!! THX again!!

  • Nice!

  • thx!!!

  • wow. i really like this. it does sound like how gould interprets it!!

  • THANK YOU!!!! What a compliment =)!!!

  • Chopin1986: how many languages do you speak??????

  • Part of what I like about Gould's Inventions are that they are somehow both studious and sweet, and you've really captured both qualities.

I really feel that Bach intended these in part as meditations, and rarely hear them played that way. This is lovely.

  • thank you so much!!! You're very kind!!!

You know, I love Glenn Gould very much and it's nice to read such a nice comment like yours, which just describes what I wanted to achieve!!!

    THX!!

  • Einfach wunderschoen... ;-)

  • Vielen Dank! :)

  • I like how you play Bach!

  • thanks!!

  • merci beaucoup!!!

  • This was really well done! Thank you!!!

  • thx!!

  • Sehr Schön:)

That's all I can say in German

  • These two words are enough!!

    THX!

  • Go on Chopin, I still enjoy listening to you playing the piano!

  • THX a lot!!

  • I'm not familiar with Gould's recording of this. Personally I can't stand Gould. Too many try to copy him. It would be more truthful and honest if you found your own way of playing this.

  • yes you're right, but somehow it was a funny thing to interpret this little piece like he did and actually I do not "copy" other's interpretation. Of course, there're some interpretations of Gould I can't understand, too. However Gould will be the greatest interpret of Bach for me...

  • Very nicely done! Feels like Glenn Gould's version!

  • Thank you very much!! :)

  • ..hmmm not so sure about that b-flat in the bass at the end but i like that you put your own spin on it :)

  • well, the b-flat thing...that could be possible :o)

  • your trills are so lively- i'm jealous! :) and very nice all around.

  • LOL!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

  • Very nice, well played indeed!

  • thank you!!

  • Very clean and precise. It's really good; I guess I'm used to András Schiff's slightly more Romanticized performances (with a little more rubato here and there). Still, a fine job...I think the Inventions are marginalized when compared to the Well-Tempered Clavier, when they're actually just as tightly constructed and interesting as the bigger collection. Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks for your friendly comment!! Well, the inventions are the some kind of a mainidea of the character of the Well-Tempered Clavier, that's true! They are not as difficult as the fugues and preludes, however they so nice to play and they sound just great!!

  • Wonderful touch and feel - a beautiful rendition that would make Glenn Gould proud ;).

  • thank you very much!!

What a friendly comment of yours!!

  • brilliant !! 5/5

  • I can only return your friendly compliment!!

    THX!!

  • This is one of the little Inventions of J.S. Bach. Somehow I tried to interpret this piece like Glenn Gould did, because I loved the way he played this Invention... I hope you enjoy... thx
