  • @chaircover66 calm down. Everybody has their own way of cooking it. Merry Christmas and enjoy your Christmas dinner which I'm sure will "copok" everyone under the table... x

  • Please, I'm not even jamaoican and I know this is wrong. I would copok her under the table. This just goes to show that every jamaican can't cook. Blending onions, peppers, etc, just nasty. Why not just add onions, peppers, etc when goat is almost done. It takes goat at least 2hrs or more to become tender. Why would this non cooking chic add potatoe and carrots at beginning. More like mush to me.

  • Wow with 1 to two hours only of cooking you will be chewing on that goat this time next year lol hmm. where is the browning and soy sauce ginger the list goes on .. Also, never add the potoato or carrot's at the begining of cooking down.. Tracy is lovely but Jamaica n travel co have done and injustice to a Fantastic Jamaican recipe!!

  • Rubbish, where's the HP Sauce:)

  • well done hun

  • Just made this recipe and it's perfect! Tastes authentic just like the restaurant I get it from. Thank you!!! The whole family loved it!!!

  • beautiful food and girl ; )

  • Fantastic recipe , thank u for sharing... ^_^

  • Curry goat is my favorite food. Good with plantain, and greens along with rice and peas of course.

  • I just tried Curry goat for the first time. It is sooo good!

  • Another winner my dear. I think you have a future in cooking on television. Good luck!

  • can you use mild curry powder

  • i like this recipe but the only thing is that i would put the potatoes and carrots in the last 30 min of cooking. but the recipe is awesome. I love it tho....ur a cutie also!!

  • Dear Madam;

    Very nice! Good job!

I have a few questions: 1) What sort of curry powder did you use? This is a big taste component and therefore is of no small importance. 2) Have you ever tried adding shredded coconut to the curry (after marination and most of the frying is done)? But then, perhaps the rice and pea has coconut milk already in it.

  • i tried this recipes but the meat broke up what did i do wrong ?

  • @gofwynne if it shredded the you put it to long to cook. but wit goat meat you wanna put it to cook for a long time...i think maybe u put it to cook for a long time...how long did you cook the meat for??

  • Yea Mon!

  • A credit to Jamaica. Don't take any notice if the idiots posting. There's always one

  • Hi thank you for the video. I was taught by my grandmother not to add water because goat makes it's own water. It takes longer that way so sometimes I do cheat. ;)

  • thanks for the video

  • I think I'm the only Jamaican that refuses to eat goat. I'll cook it but I won't eat it. I never use to be like this..but I went to Janaica year years ago to visit family and I saw a goat eat a small rusted tin (mackeral)..it just swallowed the whole tin and after that I never eat goat again.......it's funny cuz no one believes me....lol

  • looks delicious!

  • Girl you can burn!!!! How is it that someone so small can cook so good!!! You have definetely made me VERY comfortable with cooking Jamaican cuisine. It looks so good. I will be trying this recipe as my first Jamaican recipe. Can't wait!!!!

  • she didnt say when to put the stoch bonnet in

  • 2:54- Thanks Tracy! I will definitely put some butter in a "pat" to melt. LOL Sorry, that was just so funny to me!

  • yummm my mouth is watering, i love curry chicken but it in nothing compared to curry goat

  • Oh man, I went to a wedding and the guy's Auntie made this as one of the dishes for the reception. DELICIOUS!!!! I am so going to cook this! :D

  • I am making this for christmas!!!

  • I wanna make this soon:)

  • Very instructive. The man behind the camera should be more careful with the lighting. You need the light to fall on your face. Otherwise, excellent ! Thank you.

  • @georgeolt654 dats racist man

  • What do u c as racism here ? Any video maker is careful with lighting and other technical aspects. I enjoyed watching the video. Just wanted the video maker to do a better job.

  • Do you have a Jamaican Oxtail Stew recipe/video?

  • who puts carrots in curry goat.. what happend to the tomatos.. ginger?

  • i like your accent :p

  • God Bless You Tracy ... Thank You!

  • Tracey why do you blend the seasonings? No one I know blends their curry goat seasonings.

  • Will be giving this one a try

  • really informative, all these videos, but more thought should be put to the production; the screen is too dark and "jamaica travel and culture" should not be put down where the action is, I can't see it for these reasons. Get a better camera and brighten up the place, please!

  • I enjoy watching and trying the different recipes, moerover I enjoy watching Tracie! She's beautiful

  • From now on I'm gonna rinse off all goat meat in vinegar before I curry it to take away its high taste.

  • I agree with 78nikki. It a great video but with too much work. I just chop the seasoning and add it without blending and it turned out great.

  • a wah she a blend... a the first mi see dat... amd mi is a chef

  • lmao...To each his own I guess..

  • she caan bada cut it. she mussi think a jerk she a cook

  • my friend let me taste curry goat for th first time monday. it was good, but i'm not to fond of lamb/goat. it has a different taste from what i'm used to. great dish though!

  • Nope. No goat for me it tastes too high.

  • Wait OK I take some of that back! Two days ago I had curry goat made with the hot curry powder not the mild and THAT was really good finally! My godmother made it though. The goat never tasted high yet, and the curry gravy was really tasty just very hot!

I'll make curry goat with the hot curry powder from now on! I think that takes the high taste away for some reason!

  • why did she made it seems so hard with blending the marinade and then scraping it off all of that is not necessary to acheive the same result because i have never seen anyone else does it like that and i dont do that either and am from jamaica.

  • Great video. We've added it to our ranch YouTube channel for goat meat customers. Thank you!

  • i does know how to make me self me own curry goat ya ere

  • what about manish water?

  • I used this recipe and it was easy to understand...it was LOVELY...just lovely!!

  • thanks 4 the recipe i find it very useful and it was easy as well

  • yeah, you can't boil the goat meat because it turns to rubber.. Have to gradually add water and simmer on a very low heat for about 2 hours..

  • I find this recipe incorrect as far as Jamaican curry goat goes, one of the things my Jamaican mother use to emphasize when cooking curry goat is not to add water to meat, just let slowly steam cook slowly.

  • Yu right! goat takes a while to cook, you can add water but sparingly the lid should provide enough steam. but dis gal a use a wok and blender. and marinade?

if i was there i woulda box dung har bloodclaat! LMAO

  • my mom use the steaming pot add a little bit of water adn let is steam in there

  • Nuh True!

Yup you heat the pot high and sear the meat first for a little while, then simmer it with water and let it cook down.the meat already has enough to make its own gravy.

I don't want nona weh dis gal yah a cook!

I should take her to country fe make aunti Mary learn har to cook - kaw she gone clear!

  • @959623 What your mother does is not indicative of what ALL Jamaicans do. True story.

  • very good and very clear direction. This video is simple and very nice to watch.

  • show me how to make run dung!!!!!!! please

  • how u cook rice and gungo peas???

  • Same as you cook red peas, just change the peas

  • Thanks for posting :-)

  • Yes a curried goat recipe. I love curried goat.
