He got drunk and now has a hangover so drinking is supposed to reduce it, but in reality you'll just get worse and the hang over will be worse when you finally stop drinking. Basically asprin and a shit load of water will cure it. hang overs are basically dehyrdration. once you throw up whatever is in your stomac tack ibuprofen or some vicodin and lots of water and keep moving on.
