I luuuv this song! timeless. Shows off his breathy sexy vocals..:) I was so in love with David in the 70's and when he made his comeback with this I was grown up and into other things. I'd been looking at videos of David on YouTube and fell in love with him all over again. He's 61 now but he's still here, doing what he does best. All the best to him.:)x

Great reworking of Cliff's "Young Love" from Wired for Sound. Different lyric, tempo and arrangement but still the same melody. It's not a rip off though since Alan Tarney wrote and produced the two songs. Actually I always enjoy listening to the two songs back to back . Best Regards Gerry

The quality of this footage [from 1985] of David Cassidy leaves something to be desired ...... but it is noticeable that Cassidy - at the ripe 'old' age of thirty-five - was still a very good-looking, handsome man; even though his days as a 'weenybopper' idol had long since passed.

Incidentally, backing vocals on Cassidy's final Top 10 hit single in the UK ["The Last Kiss"] were performed by George Michael. In 1985, Mr Michael was as big a 'weenybopper' idol as Cassidy had been in 1973.

Wow! I'm not sure that this even qualifies as song. It's a drum machine set to a barely perceptible melody. Man, Cassidy somehow managed to latch himself on the all the worst trends of the 80s (nasty highlighted mullet, cheesy sport's jacket, neon colors, melodramatic lip syncing, hollow electronic musical sounds, etc). He strikes me as someone who can't come to terms w/the fact that he's not a teen idol anymore. Some of those faces he was making were cringe-worthy. Looks like a little gnome

that underwater bubble noise should never have been in this song. this wasn't released in the usa in 1985. i love mid 1980s music and this is fairly good but needed a faster pace.songs gets better at 2:47 but is overall too slow and lacks hard guitar. it's better than george michael's Wham though

Oh Man! If I could turn back time - that was a wonderful time to be a fan and have his songs be hits on the charts again, seeing him on these shows, attending his '85 concerts, and fans able to sit and talk with him easily. This video brings back a lot of emotional memories of really great days - it's like reliving a past life. Can't believe it's 24 years ago, when it was so usual back then.
