I've heard that music has the capability to take you to a place...a time in your life....and this is sooo true. Everytime I hear this CD I think of a certain time period in my life. Where I was, who I was involved with, feelings, etc.... Music is more powerful than we know.
One of the best R&B abums of the 90's..17 yrs later this is better than most song out now AND I still listen to it now. Brings back memories of my college years and the girl i dated then..sun times.

I love MJB always and forever, but the only reason Faith never really got her shine on like she should have was because Mary had all the attention, she just sang from her gut, but Faith was just the better artist, by that I mean encompassing brilliant vocal arrangement and songwriting Faith, imho, was just leaps and bounds ahead of Mary. I know it sounds sacriligious and Mary would rip me apart if she read this but just my opinion.
