@jayr3826 A hammer applies too much force in one place, so the aluminum gets wavy and curved instead of flat.

@firedude201234 Yes, although--out of hundreds of students--I have not had even one student cut fingers on an aluminum can. Steel (tin) cans are much more dangerous that way.
