  • Infidelity should be a criminal offense, it's in all holy books, but the law.

  • Male dominant world, doesn't mean woman oppression world, but the devil works against all Gods creature.

  • what gives them the right 2 come 2 owl country & tell us how we should treat women & how they can change owl way of life. IF YOU DONT LOVE IT LEAVE.

  • @SaelPalani. For somebody who has never had stones thrown at her head, should never make the claim that they understand the level of pain of the women who were stoned to death. It's kind of sickening for you to say you felt as if the stones were hitting YOU. Don't compare yourself to the poor woman who have been stoned to death.

  • Awesome video. I am disheartened and outraged at the abuse women receive under Islamic law. It must have been very difficult for you to watch the film.

  • women were and have been abused all over the world for centuries, baby girls used to be buried alive by other cultures such as hindus etc, in the west women were used for prostitution, Islam came about to protect women not to abuse them, These men are no better than the ones who were there before or different from ay men other men who abuse women in this world. If a woman is seen sleeping with another man by four eyes witnesses, then the woman and man have to be stoned. not just the woman.

  • I can't believe that anyone would seek to implement sharia law in Canada.

When two legal systems exist for two different groups in one nation, one word quickly comes to mind, apartheid (South Africa before 1994).

Canada is a nice place, and if one does not like it's existing legal system, then you should not immigrate to Canada. Period.

  • I wont deny that stoning adulterers (men or women) is not a part of Islamic Law - However, if you believe that the individuals in this story are practicing Muslims - you are sadly misinformed. If anyone should have been stoned here, it should have been the despicable husband. BTW, according to sharia, you need 4 eye witnesses in order to be sentenced to death by stoning AND there had to be penetration involved - if the individuals were standing together naked - not good enough. Furthermore,...

  • @TaiyouNoAo if the stories of all 4 witnesses contradict in any way, then they are sentenced to 80 lashes for slander - Even if they are telling the truth. And if the person actually did commit adultery in secrecy, then he or she is encouraged to keep silent and turn to Allah for forgiveness. The wisdom behind stoning is to prevent individuals for committing such open acts of shamelessness which will in turn corrupt the society....

  • @TaiyouNoAo There's no wisdom in killing people.

  • @SaelPalani So I take it you don't believe in capital punishment? If you do, then perhaps it is difficult to comprehend just how seriously Islam takes shamelessness. Again, from the outside looking in, I can understand how insignificant it may seem compared to something like rape and murder - after all, if people chose to engage in unlawful intercourse that's their problem, right? However, when it is committed so openly, it becomes a social problem.

  • @TaiyouNoAo For example, is it any wonder to you that infidelity is so common these days? Over the years, the idea of adultery has been glamorized to the extent that some are no longer seeing it as an issue anymore. But what about those who do take fidelity seriously? They end up getting hurt in the process all because having your partner cheat on you is considered common. This is not including the illegitimate children who are born under these circumstances - what about them?

  • @TaiyouNoAo That's why there's divorce. You don't stone the fuck out of people or hang them for homosexuality. It's called BARBARIC. Period.

  • @SaelPalani There's no sense in us trying to debate such a specific matter when you don't have a baseline understanding of Islam. It's like arguing about Quantum Theory, and you don't even know what 1 + 1 is. Perhaps this act may seem barbaric to you, but to dismiss the faith in its entirety as barbaric is unfair. Read the book front to back, sincerely, and then make your comments.

    Peace.

  • @TaiyouNoAo killing+killling= killing. I don't need to know Quantum Theory to understand what's going on here. I'm not debating with you. You came here remember? This is about true stories about women being violated and killed by Sharia Law. It's about women's rights, not about some book I need to read. Hanging 16 year old girls in Iran isn't right. I don't need to read this book to know that. Oh and Bacha Bazi (sp?) isn't right either. Yep, I know about that too.

  • @SaelPalani The cases you are citing are not 'Sharia' - they're cultural ignorance. Enough said. I didn't even know what 'Bacha bazi was until you mentioned it and I had to look it up. I can't even begin to describe how disgusting and COMPLETELY unIslamic this practice is. I didn't even have to read beyond the google description to see what it is about because there is no justification ANYWHERE in Islam that would allow that.

  • @SaelPalani Look, there are some sick things that go on in the Muslim world (as anywhere else in the world, really) that get confused for Islam or Sharia, as in this case. Perhaps we disagree when it comes to capital punishment (not like we're the only ones), but the fact of the matter is that all of the cases you have describe have no place in Islam and I agree with you in condemning them.

  • @SaelPalani Well said! It sickens me that there are those who support stoning. To me their society IS shameful.

  • @TaiyouNoAo. As far as I know, you are right, there is no mention of stoning women to death in Quran. The origination of this punishment is from the Torah. The quran, in a sense... watered that punishment down to 100 lashes to both the man and the woman involved in the "illegal" sexual act (which I feel no one can still justify, it is brutal). I'd rather live in a society full of infidelity, rather than a culture that allows stoning.

  • @Atroopos

the Hadith's does indeed mention stoning as punishment for adultery!

As well as Sahih Bukhari writes that Aiesha claimed that the law of stoning originally was SUPPOSED to be a prat of the Quran, but a GOAT ate the verses that were written on leaf and hidden under her bed..!:-)

  • @TaiyouNoAo It is funny because the issue has nothing to do science, but rather philosophy.

Premise #1: All persons have equal moral rights.

    Premise #2: Women are people.

Therefore, women have equal moral rights.

If you disagree I think you have either confused what person means, or do not know what it means.

Premise #1: Sharia Law gives men more rights than women.

Premise #2: Women have equal moral rights.

    Therefore, Sharia Law is immoral.

  • @TaiyouNoAo Nope I don't. Murder is murder no matter what perspective you're looking at it. Unlawful intercourse? Goodness me. It doesn't have to be committed openly as this true story and many others like it have shown. All it takes is a few numbskull men to wreck a woman and then kill her. There's no comment you'll ever make that will make me see murdering as a good thing.

  • @TaiyouNoAo

the only "social problem" here worth mentioning is Islam.

  • @TaiyouNoAo Finally, it is only when it comes to witnessing financial contracts where you need two women for one men. The reason being that if one forgets, then the other one can remind her. In all other matters, their opinion is of equal value. If you really want to know what Islam says about women, then I encourage you to read the Holy Quran - ALL OF IT, so that you can get the whole picture. Peace!

  • @TaiyouNoAo Shouldn't she read it with another woman? You know in case she forgets?

  • @TaiyouNoAo Well we all know that it doesn't truly work that way. It may say that in a book but it's not practiced. It's brutal and disgusting.

  • @SaelPalani When people begin to deviate and begin to introduce their own desires into the religion, that's when the trouble begins. Sadly, there are 'so-called' Muslims out there who think their practicing Islam, but are so far away that acts such as the one told in this movie seem just to them. May Allah guide us all. I'm glad you acknowledge that the issue is more related to the people rather than the source itself.

  • I hadn't seen that movie before, I just finished watching it. It's absolutely heart breaking. I wish more people could see it.

  • thanks for posting this.

  • More and more I fear what the expansion of islam mixed with the catering to it of overly sensitive political leaders would bring. I had suspected increases in immigration and areas where rule of law was ignored for local law thanks to the simple numbers of the people there. Similar to the south's treatment of blacks in court cases before the full effect of the civil rights movement where murderers would walk free if it was a white killer and black victim. Pains me to see this may become reality.

  • Great video Diana!

I posted this to DawahFilms 16 hours ago; to his credit it's still there (ironically I posted about this urgent issue twice on Thunderf00t and it was quickly removed both times):

anEthicalSociety (16 hours ago) What are your thoughts on the impending stoning of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani in Iran?

    watch?v=ae7vb8mGYtM

  • powerful stuff.

  • Sharia law is particularly brutal. The idea that government officials would openly sanction and help a man to have his wife publicly murdered is beyond me.

The hypocrisy of patriarchy & patriarchal religion...

  • @iremythpurr Not only that but in Iran there was an execution of a 16 year old girl. She was hung and according to Sharia Law you cannot execute a woman unless she's at least 18. They forged the papers to make it appear that she was 22. Yes, this is patriarchy AND patriarchal religion. The two are separate yet similar. I'm glad to see you made that important distinction. Good to see you.

  • so disturbing. oh my god. i can't believe this happens to women - i can't believe they actually want to stone a woman to death over "adultery" so disgusting. I hope it is somehow stopped

  • @antiquelens Adultery is one of the biggest insults to a man's "honor" in the Islamic world.

If a women only "looks" at another man too often, they are likely to be charged with it.

  • islamic men can't hold their own with a woman without mandatory laws to make their women into slaves. they couldn't keep a woman otherwise. what's wrong with being islamaphobic? they want to convert the world to follow their laws and join their religion by force. we are the borg. resistance is futile. they are straight up barbaric. i'd say there is a lot to be phobic about, and justifiably so. they hold everybody else to higher standards than they hold themselves. fuck em.

  • okay WEIRD. I almost watched this video last night! (i opted to pass out instead). I knew I probably couldn't handle watching it.

I think there's a lot more to be said about the "sharia law" stuff that gets talked about ignorantly on youtube. Like for example "sharia law" in the UK. Community courts follow sharia but all people must agree to the courts and also they cannot violate British law. there are also courts for jews, etc.

I don't agree with the idea of different courts (cont)

  • @iremythpurr

but its discrimination to allow certain religions to have courts under their specific religious doctrine and not others.

Although these courts cannot violate British law, I still think they're silly and a waste of money and bureaucracy.

  • @iremythpurr I agree that it is absurd. But there has been many cases of women being forced into these sharia courts because they can not speak English. It is important to remember that most people who use these courts are from immigrant communities. The courts are still inherently sexist especially when it comes to womens rights which deal with divorce and the rights to their children.

I wish we could just have a complete seperation of church and state.

People should back 'One Law For All'

  • @iremythpurr We're on the same vibe trip. :-D

  • Sharia law has no place on this planet. It's barbaric to say the least.

  • Going to try to get this from itunes. Thank-you for discussing it. I am so glad we're friends. I love your commitment to people, in general. It is truly a great trait.

  • It's tragic that a woman's worth is still being minimized to such a degree, her very life is considered this dispensable.Women in these countries need to find a way to reach out to the global community, be seen & heard, made human beyond peg in political issue. These kinds of atrocities are met with a powerful resistance when the issue enters the hearts and minds of others-outside of it-in a way they must act. Sometimes our neighbors are too close and connected to different angles of it.

  • This a brillant video Diana! Sharia Law has no place in Western society or for that matter any society. It is inherently sexist and is based upon a patriarchal system of "honour". I am for equality for all gender's and do not believe in one gender's domination over an other. Diana you should check out a woman called Maryam Namazie she is the leader of 'One Law For All' and Ayaan Hirsi Ali's book 'Infidel' these are strong women fighting against barbarism and the embracing of secularism.

  • Honor killings ? that is the ULTIMATE patriarchy at work. :-(

Women mean absolutely nothing in some countries.

  • @panthera50 Indeed. Have you seen the film?

  • @SaelPalani No, but I don't need to see it, to know what it is.

Here we have "honor killings" too.

I know a woman who had to go from place to place to stay out of the hands of her brothers to not get killed. :-(

    It was horrendous.

  • @panthera50 The young actress, Afshan Azad, from the Harry Potter movies recently had her father and brother attempt to murder her. Because she is a muslim and she is involved with a hindu man. This recently happened in England where people are fighting for their "right" to practice sharia law. It's a load of horseshit. I hope they're put away for a long, long time.

  • @Zaimoren Yes, I heard about that. Are they in jail or what?

  • @SaelPalani Oh yeah they're in jail at the moment. I had heard that she was trying to take back her statement. Poor girl is probably scared shitless. Your family is suppose to protect you and this is what she has to look to.

  • @Zaimoren Oh great ! :-((

Its fucking horrible, and noone in his right mind could ever support such a law.

    I don't care WHO's law it is.

Muslims have no "right" to impose such a cruel law in countries who are NOT under Islamic law, and THEY KNOW IT.

  • You should ask Ali what`The ´Ummah` is.

If you are as succesfull as I was, you won´t get an answer.

Because he knows he´s liying about certain things.

  • @panthera50 Oh you also tried to ask him questions?

  • @SaelPalani Yes, I ask him about the ummah and he didn't answer my queation.

I know WHY, because I know he is lying: I had a relationship with a Muslim for 11 years, so he can't sell his bullshit to me. :-(

  • Thank you for this video! Sharia Law cannot be intertwined with IHRL or any other constitutional law in Western societies, because it violates the fundamental principles of Human Rights. I'm appalled when I see a presumably idealistic leftist in Western socieities cry about "Islamophobia" and insist on granting "religious rights" to misogynistic cult fanatics without understanding what those are. One nation under one Law Period!

  • @shinyhardcrystal01 Yes! I don't know how both sets of laws can be accommodated. It bothers me greatly that some athiests on this site will slam Christians and yet Snowy asks a benign question and gets slapped on the wrist and called an Islamophobe by the same people.

  • Well, it's nice to see at least one radical feminist promoting awareness of how fucked up sharia is for women.

  • @LordClydeofOMAR Thank you Clyde. It's too bad my old videos aren't around anymore. I will say that many radical feminists do promote awareness of this. And I also know that tons of western feminists have this on their radar and have critically examined it. I think a lot of it is 1) knowing where to look and 2) many times MRA's and others will shout that feminists don't care about this when the reality is quite different. I can't tell you how many times MRA's on YT would try to defer my message

  • @LordClydeofOMAR by saying I didn't care about women in Islam. They regularly throw this around as fact when it's not. ♥ As always, it's nice that you're on my comment section.

  • I think a lot of women could relate to this here in America. The weak always gets the worse in our society compared to the powerful. This happens in todays time.

  • @aerialchris420 Thank you for your support in your video response. This movie was based on a true story and it shook me up.

  • @SaelPalani it shocks me too
