Actually I thought they portrayed Frank Jeager all too well in portable ops. So YES IT IS a good game. Not as good as peacewalker but still good during its time.

@UzamakiNaruto085 Storywise, yeah. It had some plotholes in it, but they weren't much of a problem, even the stuff about Big Boss meeting Frank.
But I personally didn't like Portable Ops' gameplay. It just wasn't very fun.

Err... don't you mean "four times"? I mean, in Portable Ops, he saved him twice. The first time was during the Mozambique War for Independence (Where he was ironically a FREMO soldier instead or REMANO), when he was a kid [hence the origin of the name Frank Jaeger], and the second time was during the events of Portable Ops (where Frank Jaeger was forced to be subject to the Perfect Soldier project by the Philosophers, as well as Gene's rebellion, going by Null).

Do you mean the way they had to refine the controls?
Because I thought it was quite impressive how they managed to practicly fit Subsistance's engine into a UMD.
