Are you sure of this? Last I saw, the population of Indonesia was about 200 million, overwhelmingly Muslim, and there were something like 100 million Muslims in India.

A small correction. The country with the larger number of Muslim citizens in the world is India. In additon, Turkey is another example of a secular democratic(almost) country with an overwhelming majority of Muslim citizens.
