Das Funktioniert wirklich. Durch das heiße Wasser und duch das schnelle abkühlung wird ein Unterdruck erzeugt. Bis es stark genug ist um den Kesselwagen zum implodieren zu bringen. Ich glaube das war so.

The Tankwaggon ist implodiert und nicht 'zusammengeknüllt' worden, denn das geschieht vergleichsweise langsam und kontinuierlich. Der Kesselwagon wurde leergepumpt und hat eine Schwachstelle spendiert bekommen, so dass er dem Atmosphärendruck nicht mehr standhalten konnte, sobald der Unterdruck zu groß wurde. Die 760, die im Video erwähnt wird, ist wahrscheinlich der Innendruck, in mbar.

And just to keep things accurate, removing all the oxygen will not create a vacuum in our atmosphere. Oxygen only accounts for about 1/5th of our breathable air. Also it's good to note that a true vacuum can never be reached.

My guess: Either this was done with pumps (which I doubt due to the abrupt implosion) or, a chemical rxn took place inside the tank causing an instantaneous drop of pressure.

It was done with a pump. You don't need an instant pressure drop for this to happen. If you continue to decrease the pressure you will eventually reach the crush pressure. Once you reach that pressure the tiniest deformation of the cylinder will cause the entire thing to collapse. If you take an undamaged aluminum can and place several bricks on it, it can hold the weight. As soon as you cause any damage(i.e. poke it with a stick) the entire can collapses. Kinda the same idea.

You're close but still off. This was done by heating the inside of the car with steam and then sealing it off. As the car cooled, the steam shrank and the difference in pressure between the inside and outside crushed the car.
