Just wanted to add to my previous cmment. I don't remember guys getting together and saying"can't wait to go dancing." The only reason to dance was in order to pick up on a girl.
Really like this-I was born in the 50's, enjoyed the 60's(what I remember)70's were great, even the 80's,90's had something to offer, but I noticed, when ever they run out of good new music,it seems that dance music rears its ugly head. I wish there was a way to keep these 2 types of music in seperate arenas, Love progressive music!!!!
People who talk about how other decades like the 60's and 70's were better are so misguided. Firstly, there's great music all the time everywhere, and secondly there's so much awesome music NOW that you must be deaf not to bump into it at some point! I'm so happy to have bands like this during my early 20's!
@cityraintunes In case you didn't notice: this is a studio. In there, they hate people that make sounds because of unnessary movement. So close your eyes and enjoy.

I've been on the cusp of buying a 12 string guitar for the last 15 years. I know, that's a long cusp! Anway, I think this has just swung it, I'm going to have to get one. And if i turn into Arcade Fire after it then all the better. If not I'll just look at Malin Berggren videos for the rest of my life. It seems to resonate, it seems to make sense. God I love the Arcade Fire
I have a friend who says he has good taste in music. Yet each time Ive shown him Arcade Fire, his response has always been "so? what's so good about them?". It always leave me shocked. How can one not see what's so good about them? I guess it's like Armstrong used to say, "If you have to ask, you'll never know."
its PURE no question, no celebrity, no sarcasm, no posturing, Impugnity, integrity and raw talent in so many forms. Beats the shithole gigs in laval now that they're on a three LP success story. No negativity - its just good to see good people doing good things now that theyre into good money. eh
SO. FUCKING. AWESOME!!!!! a band doesnt have to make noise to sound good. its all about awareness and harmonizing.. thats why Arcade fire is the best!
@RedMapp1 I was born in 61, loved the music of the 70's (and SOME of the 80's) and still am lucky enough to have seen this awesome band live nearly 20 times :-) They are not about age :-)
what musicians ....wow!

This is what happens when bands don't try to please stuffy old men in office towers in LA. Maybe Canada will save Rock and Roll.
