Hahahaha! I never thought I talked like that, until one day I hadda record myself and then listen to it, my god I cracked right up when I heard it. Cape Breton times by
The guy being called is called "Dash", hes from north sydney where he can be found riding his bike around all the time and ingageing in random acts of awsomeness
This video is perfect.. Some people in Sydney/Cape Breton do say puffs.. The names are perfect and so Cape Breton.. Mike Stewart/Jimmy Smith/Steve Boudreau are all typical names one would hear in CB.. Alot of pppl in CD do smoke weed so Im not surprised that Dash knows about it.. The black is hash and was more popular in late 70s and early 80s.. from what i know of talkin to older ppl.. the funny part is that the pranker ends the convo and not Dash.. Good sample of CB.. keep ur stick on theicebi
this is hilarious man capers have the gift of the gab big tim. if you wanna hear some mainland nova scotia annapolis valley lingo youtube monologue of a chicken catcher.
That was priceles...especially if you know Dash...I can hear the conversation when he hangs up...Dash's wife: "Who was dat?" Dash: "Be fucked if I know!" He sure knows a lot about the puff!! LOL
I don't thonk Dash ever drove a car, he was always bking it with joints stashed in his afro.
bahaha. loves it buh. loves it. no matter how i try, i always ask people "how's she goin?" it probably impacts people's opinions of me but i gets 'er done, haha. mind you, if you look around, "our puff" is the best avg joe stuff around. hahah.. fuck.. "loves me puff"
@garrymullins It's true...not everyone from Sydney talks like that or have an accent. I grew up in Sydney and I dont have an accent whatsoever. Now Glace Bay and New Waterford...They have accents. As soon as you hear a complete stranger speak you can tell right away if they're from Glace Bay
@0nuckfut0 really? do you go to the mall at all? do you ever get a coffee at Tim's? you must be in your early teens or twenties...so you say ahahahh like like like....i hate this myself but it's not a caper accent, it's either a sydney mines or glace bay or new wateford accent..,..
@0nuckfut0 as do i and we do talk like this a bit whoever this is is laying it on thick for the call but its noticeable if we go to other places haahh
I Just Noticed How We All Sound The Same, Wow . I Have Never Noticed That Before , i didnt even notice we had a accent really until i watched a bunch of cape breton videos. ahahaha and this sounds like the average phone call made here in cape breton .. aha gotta love cape breton (L)
I just moved to Wichita Kansas in September of 2007 from Sydney and you don't know how much you miss Cape Breton until you actually hear a typical conversation between two Cape Bretoners. Anywhere else in the world this conversation would have ended long ago in an unfriendly manner. Not so in Cape Breton I tell ya...this just goes to show you at how friendly the people are and at how willing they are to have a chat with a total stranger...sounded like they were friends for years eh. Homesick.
Oh my god i Remember this guy now...Dash he drove the bike around town and he had a big fro...i heard he used to hide dope in it..hahahah...i cant belive the accent...thats awful..bahahahaa
haha you should send a copy of this to the guy i'm sure he would get a good laugh. he's probably still trying to remember who you are! lol only in C.B.!
Haha.. another caper here too. When he says "puff" he's talking about weed. The other dude doesn't drink anymore but still has a puff from time to time haha

when they say "puff" or "puffin" it means marijuana. When they say By they mean like man or dude. :)
shebungle 2 years ago 2
no when we say puff it means what ever
when we say puffin it means we are talking about the atlantic puffin
and when we say by it means that we are too lazy to say the persons name
