how u put control setting here i cant find nothing cause there all messed up my settings are square = low punch ,triangle = medium punch , x = low kick, o = medium kick, l1 = high punch , r1 = high kick can u help?? i know it has something to do with tab but i cant put this settings in there

Love Third Strike, it's my favourite 2D fighter. I have the Anniversary edition on the Xbox. Got it for MAME a few days ago, and I must say the edges are smoother and the colours stand out more compared to the Xbox version (even though that is a very good port.) Love Akuma/Gouki :D Plus, no matter what anybody says, I love the line-up of characters in SF3, and the music!

It's on Dreamcast, PS2 and Xbox, this on the video it's the arcade original running on an emulator called MAME, you need to search for tutorials on how to use mame, here on youtube are tons of them, most also contain sites on where to download roms(the games) from.

Yep, it's been working on mame or mame32/UI/FX/Plus for some time now, also on Final Burn alpha, this last one it's the fastes IMHO.

You just need the correct romsets, you can find them on retroroms dot net, it also has the chd's but you really don't need them in order to play.

I used fraps for the recording and virtualdub for editing/recompressing and the "logo"

Ok, I went and downloaded MAME32. I am a DOS type person and I have the newest version of MAME for DOS, but it won't work.

I loaded up MAME32 and it worked perfectly.

Even the CHD version works great.

I also got CPS3 Emulator from the Nebula site and it worked perfectly.

So its just something wrong with the newest DOS version of MAME.

If anyone needs help with this, send me a PM and I will help.

I've never used DOS version of mame, i always use Mame32.

The CHD it's only a copy of the same game on the roms, it's just used for the real CPS-3 for back up purposes, you don't actually need it in order to play it fully.

I actually got into the real arcade game and put in the codes for Akuma at a Q-Zar.

The CD/CHD has redbook audio on it as well.

It has uncompressed data on it for faster processing. But The audio is more what I am concerned about it.

You don't need the chd's in order to play, if you pay attention in the video says "NO CD", just download that version on retroroms and youll be able to play in a mather of minutes.

just go to google and type in CPS3 Emulator, then go the site and download the CPS3 emulator and use the streetfighter 3 3rd strike rom you have, you may have to download a usa.bin file but its easy to find and quick to download :p happy playing

You just need the latest mame version, check emulatronia for the latests versions and retroroms for the correct romsets, search in google both of them.

This was an earlier version of mame, in fact the second that could support it i think, this was 0.117 on the actual 0.118 the grafics are almost perfect.
