Hey, I was wondering how do u record your tracks? do u hook it up to a mixer than record using a software cuz thats what i do. And I was wondering how u can do it by connecting ur keyboard USB style, I think that would sound much cleaner, but i duno how to do that. do u know how? thx

Hey, I only use the standard inbuilt sequenser of the mo6, nothing more, works fine by me. Cant work with Cubase.

So the mo6 is not connected with a computer. I record my songs on a cd recorder and then put it on the computer. And you are right, i does sounds better directly connected with a computer. But i have no experience what so ever with Cubase, sorry. Greetz

Well, in the time i bought the mo6 it was alot cheaper than the motif es. So i bought the mo. However, the motif is the better option, you can do alot more with it. And they are pretty cheap right now. I'm gonna buy me a motif xs6 next year. greetz

Hey thanks!! Well, the mo6 has the motif es engine build in. I only use the mo6 sequenser. No external software.

Its a great instrument with alot of potential. However, i'm thinking of buying a motif xs. But its a little bit too expensive... ;-)

Well, got the same problem as you have. Its not hooked up to the computer. I dont get along with cubase and i dont seem to get the mo6 connected. So i record my stuff on the standard sequenser of the mo6. Goes realy well. Greetz

how did you connect the keyboard to your computer?? i have a Mo6 but im new at this and have no knowledge...all i konw is you either connect a usb or some Midi cable..but i don't know how many pins for the midi cable??..plzz help!!

His name is Jeroen?! Thats fantastic! Its a tipical dutch name. He should be the only one with that name in the US ;-) The flute is also from the yamaha synth. I dont use external devices, only my synth. Got a nice sound.

Jeroen- I love that name, that's my son's name(He's in the video above, lol) We're american but I love the name. Question: is the flute actually a track from the Yamaha, or is it an audio import from a real flute? I played flute all my life and that sounds exactly like a real flute. I think it's gotta be analog.
