  • Revenue! Burn it down. The establishment! Burn it all down! Right now!

  • mythbusters never did, show the link. They used hairspray ,

  • Mythbusters busted this crap

  • supposely if u have a nintendo wii controller powered by a red light camera, the wii-mote's accelerometer interfers the detection system and causes the camera continually flash scrambled photos as long as your within 50 ft of the sensors

  • "Fight back against photo radar and red light cameras": obey the fucking law!

  • I wish I had this about 4 days ago *sighs*

  • its legal because its undetected by the naked eye so how could i cop pull your over for it, if they dont know you have it on

  • another blocker: the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution

  • Do they dig up the camera and bring it to court when someone wants to exercise their constitutional right of facing their accusers?

  • Where can I get some!

  • but of lawbreaking whiners

  • "PhotoBlocker Spray Now Illegal in California "

Instead of making the spray can illegal, they should upgrade their camera to a low light camera.

  • this is more like a advertisement -.- i gotta get me a can

  • wow, clearly the people who are complaining are the FUCKING ASSHOLES WHO DRIVE RECKLESSLY EVERY GOD DAM DAY. I mean seriously, anyone who purchases this spray is literally admitting their bad driving habits shall continue.

  • Thank You Government Apologist and Pimp

  • lol, in germany photoblocker don´t works

    maybe we have better cameras

  • The yellow light last about 2 seconds where they have these fucking cameras, it's a fucking trap.

  • I was in town and a light turned yellow I slammed on my brakes something I normally would not do but the red light cameras are out to get you. That is the only time I did this but when you are in a town that has cams you become paranoid especially if you you are a commercially licensed driver and need your license to earn a living. This will make more traffic because people will have to drive slower to be able to have time to stop they better not ticket me for impeding I rather do speed limit.

  • i hate those cameras i wanna break everyone of those fucking things just another way for the goverment to make more money

  • rofl some guy in tennessee got arrested after shooting one out

  • @snoopyloopy Awesome... LOL

  • Never got caught, but they make me afraid to go anywhere near intersections that got em. These things suck, one day I'll get myself a rifle and snipe every one of those damn cameras in town.

  • Doesn't work for infrared camera's though ...

  • Why not just stop at red lights so you don't get a ticket? You'll probably be paying way more if you get caught

  • good job guys yeah dont let them ripp off your money

  • FAKE

  • ....Or you could just not drive through red lights.

I absolutely support these cameras because they do not discriminate like Cops do.

  • Paradoxb3 wrote, "ive seen the cameras go off right behind me ... and never received anything so i guess no news is good news" fucking asshole.

No, you're the fucking asshole, Paradox. I love this guy who says "no news is good news." But luckily for me, I do not need to purchase the spray. I do not live in a jurisdiction where there are any cameras. I do not run red lights intentionally. That would be foolish. But once in awhile, it does happen if I'm not anticipating the light changing

  • Nice. Im going straight to the AutoZone

  • FUCK BIG BROTHER!

  • isn't this stuff basically a glossy spray? you could get the same thing for like 5$ at home hardware.

  • i dont think it works cuz the second comparison photo was obiviously cropped

  • also.. im very suspicious of products like this, if you can see the plate then a camera can see the plate.if the plate is so reflective that it blocks a flash during the day-then it would also be so reflective in the sun that u would get stopped and ticketed. this may work at night, but again- any cop driving behind u with headlights on would be unable to see your plate, a camera works in the same way your eye does. so any claim they make about affecting camera vision also must apply to ur eyes

  • thats true

  • I wonder if the maker of this spray would mind if their wife and kids were slaughtered by a redlight runner with this shit on their tag?

  • awesome comment, dipshit.

  • Does it take your picture if you run a yellow light that turns red while you are still barely in the intersection?

  • probably, some cops pull you over if its still yellow. Douches

  • I understood it that blockers do not work.

  • Oh dear. Americans being stupid.....as always.

Why the fuck would you risk running a red light? Photoblocker isnt going to save your arse when you get hit by a truck.

Cover your plate up for speeding sure, but for jumping red lights, you stupid retards.

  • What if your in the intersection making a left turn?

    What then.

  • I agree, blowing through an intersection when the traffic light is red is one thing. However, rolling right turns, left turns while in the intersection, and getting out of harms way is another thing. Red light cameras actually increase accidents as they do not prevent accidents from happening and people slamming on the breaks to avoid getting ticketed sometimes get rear ended. They end up paying insurance bills instead of tickets. Its a lose lose situation.

  • or u could do the speed limit, and come to a safe stop when u see the yellow. the cameras arent activated if u are just leaving the intersection as it turns red. its activated when a car enters an intersection during a red. if there is a car extremely close behind u and u are forced to run the light, the picture may be used as evidence in your favour as long as u didnt enter on red. the law for yellow lights is "stop unless unsafe to do so" and a tailgater is the exception to the stop rule.

  • going the speed limit doesnt matter, cause lets say your GOING the limit, those lights can creep up on you. its an issue i face every night going to work

  • watch the crosswalk sign for stale light.

lights dont creep up on you.. if it turns yellow and you are unable to stop safely you slow down and cross the intersection with caution. thats the law... you get tickets for running red lights, if you are coming to an interection and you choose not to stop on a yellow and it turns red as you enter then either you had enough time to stop and decided not to, or the light wasnt timed properly. yellow light times are based on the speed limit on the road

  • if you are running reds all the time well going the speed limit you are either lacking in driving ability or your in a very heavy truck, but you can dispute a ticket if you are in a heavy truck as long as you went through the intersection safely, which means slowing.

  • i try not to run red lights at all, but what im tryin to say is, what if the light creeps up on you, the roads are bad, and you cant slow down. of course if the roads are bad ill go under the limit like i always do.

  • Why don't we just question the need for tags in the first place. The Constitution states that we have the right to travel FREE and unencumbered.

That means no plates or license. Keep selling your freedoms, keep making more laws, and you'll find yourself in a police state so bad that you'll be next to a cow in a corral.

    Liberty or Death.

Death to the New World Order!

  • well as long as it serves its purpose. I see no problem with it. But i guess people could make a little wiser decisions when driving. Like paying attention to speed and the lights. Speeding doesn't help you get to your destination sooner it just catches you up to other packs of motorists. if you are familiar with the area. time the lights and see how fast you need to go to get all green lights. I do and never have to stop for a light.

  • lol im political. :D

  • "ive seen the cameras go off right behind me ... and never received anything so i guess no news is good news" fucking asshole. "i hide my tag so i can run red lights, speed, and do anything i want" people like him are the ones that get other people killed, particularly those of us that ride motorcycles, because they think the world revolves around them, and are too important to have to wait an extra 1-2 minutes on a red light.

  • will you stand in line when big brother ask you for a urine and blood sample? Will you accept the RFID chip. This is a surveillance issue.

  • this IS NOT big brother. its a device that says "if you're gonna ignore traffic laws, put yourself and others lives in danger, and be a total jackass on the road, then you get a ticket!"

again as a motorcyclist, i LIKE the fact that they make people obey traffic signals. have some dumbass pull a dangerous maneuver in front of YOU nearly killing you like i see all the time, and your perspective changes. the roads are FULL of idiot drivers that think they're time is too important to be safe.

  • complain if you want about your "surveillance issue." cameras are everywhere. cameras are in your bank and ATM to catch criminals. do you ever hear of bank robbers cry "thats not fair!" no. cameras are in malls, shopping centers, retail stores, etc... and you never hear a shoplifter complain either.

why should they? they're breaking the law and getting caught. and so are you if you're running red lights and endangering MY LIFE. what makes YOUR crime so special that cameras arent fair?

  • if you were walking across the street, I'll be glad to do big brother's work and run you over, killing you myself. Save them the time and trouble. Hows that for "fair"?

  • Sounds exactly like what I would expect from the product of a generation I am ashamed to call my own. The cries of an individual that doesn't understand that with your freedoms come responsibilities. You believe that you deserve everything, anything, right now, with no consequences for your actions, and no questions asked.

That, my simple minded little youtube friend, is why you seem to think its OK to kill another human being, but its not ok to take your picture. Grow up kid.

  • I ride my bike to work ever day. I know what it's like be spat on, bottles thrown at me and other junk thrown at me. What you need to do is stop bitching about it. People are still going to be jerks and break the law. You stand on your hippie safely position. Instead of empowering people to be more responsible for their own actions, what do we do? We give up our responsibilities to our governments. "We can't control ourselves to follow law, so please watch us 24/7". Who's simple minded now?

  • let me get this straight, you offer to run me over in your car over a difference of opinion... because i dont like seeing people getting killed by reckless drivers? and i am simple minded?

i'll stand on my hippie safety position and you stand on your hippie "you got no right to catch me breaking the law, mannnn!" position.

I still see nothing wrong with protecting us safe drivers out there.

  • quote me where I said "you got no right to catch me breaking the law, mannnn!" position. If I kill you, I chose to kill you. I never said I had the right to get away. And you are turning this issue into something it's not. Red light camera are not put in to catch drivers running people over, we have the police for that. Simply, they are there to make money for the state. Don't tell me you are naive enough to believe that there is no quota.

  • I'm just curious... if an irresponsible driver ran down someone close to you, such as a parent or sibling, in a monitored intersection and then were to flee from the scene, how eager would you be for the police to see the tape and capture the tag #?

Or would you still claim its wrong to catch them with a traffic camera?

  • I'm just curious, if you were caught picking up a hooker from a traffic light, how would you feel if the police used that "red light" camera and prosecuted you for solicitation? It's funny how hypothetical, loaded questions can work both ways. The purpose of the red light camera is to feed money into the state, not to catch criminals.

  • wow. that statement proves just how big an idiot you are. what in the hell makes you think i want to pick up hookers? and yea if i were that big a dumbass to do it under police cameras, then no, i doubt i'd be complaining either. sheesh.

i dont know where you get your ideas from pal, so i'll just say once more, since i'm sick of this now, GROW UP. obey the goddamn law and the cameras wont bother ya.

  • My point was that these cameras will not be used for their purpose. And when things go bad for you, lets say you become a victim of police brutality, you can rest assure that these cameras will "suddenly stop working". Maybe then will you realize just how badly you're getting fucked by your country.

  • Your last sentence is dead on. There was even a new report where in Denver I believe it was that they had used traffic cameras for long enough that the recorded incidents had dropped so drastically that they were losing millions in revenue because nobody was running red lights anymore. SO THEY TOOK THEM DOWN SO PEOPLE WOULD START AGAIN! The original plan of reducing accidents worked but once the alterior plan of extreme revenue fell through then the plan suddenly was a wash and not worth it.

  • finally someone who gets it. Traffic lights and police are no different. A friend of mine's dad is a cop. He told me if they couldn't make quota, they would go around breaking the lights of cars so they could ticket them. Like state police for example. We build highways, infrastructures that was meant to travel at high speeds but the speed limit is much slower, usually 55 mph. Servants for the people? No. Servants for the state! Same thing with these cameras. They don't care about your safety.

  • Traffic lights and police are no different? What a bizarre statement. Don't traffic lights control opposing flows of traffic at a junction for the sole purposes of safety?

  • my mistake, I meant traffic cameras.

  • It was dallas not Denver. My mistake. Check it for your self on the Dallas Morning News website.

  • When we rely on the state more and more, we give up our responsibilities as free human beings. Next thing you know, the government is going to put military on my homeland and kill the Posse Comitatus Act. Military men will act as police. Oh wait, that already happened. Enjoy your self righteousness. I'd rather keep my freedoms thank you very much.

  • yea i hear the sky is falling too. better hide.

just go ahead and get the last word in so you can "win." i'm not arguing with such a narrow minded, fearful individual any longer.

  • "ohh no a car is going to run a red!!! my life is in danger!!! more cameras now!". Who's fearful? me or you? There were accidents before cameras, and there will be accidents now with cameras. You just refuse to empower yourself by letting big brother video tape you, wire tap you, basically stripping you 4th amendment rights away. I didn't win, because you are still stupid. You are probably my neighbor, my fellow citizen yet you are still ignorant. We both lose from your ignorance.

  • Just don't speed and don't run red lights

fucking people spend money on the dumbest things

  • They just tryin to get you ready for the NEW WORLD ORDER ... in that scene NO ONE has ANY privacy so GET USED TO IT. and enjoy the little freedoms you do have now.

    P.S.

Obama is in bed with Brzezinski FUCKED UP the new world order is on its WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

  • your ps thing was spam, but i got one:

Obamas a lama on top of yo mama without no pajamas.

  • So your mad at the state for potentially making money on a law breaker which may help fund the police who protect you and in return you will spend your money on a company that will just make themselves rich on a spray. WOW. Geniuses I swear. Good choice morons!!!!! Keep making the world a better place.

  • News Flash!!!!! Beat the ticket by not fucking speeding. Idiots. Feel sorry for people who actually have a brain and use it for stupid crap like this. You can speed and swerve through traffic and plenty of studies show you save barely any time and are a cause of traffic. One person who breaks and causes someone behind them to break on a highway causes a chain reaction that can lead up to stopped traffic 2 hours later. Speeding has more down side than up side. Keep earning those tickets people.

  • There is an easier way to fight these tickets. The ticket you recieve in the mail was written by a police officer, however the police officer was not at the scene of the "crime." Its a damn loophole thatyou can exploit because the officer can not issue a citation unless they were at the scene and witnessed it. Its kinda like how an officer can't show up at an accident scene and write a ticket because their ticket can't be based on eye witnessess stories. Or you can just say you werent driving

  • Mythbusters did a story on this "blocking" spray and found it totally and completely ineffective.

  • Glad you believe everything you see on mythbusters! LOL ... mythbusters doesnt prove shit other then the T.V. is still the most proven mind control out there. Do research and READ about it dont let a television show whats true and whats not.

  • Props to photoblocker for identifying a market - I will buy some if cameras are installed here in KC.

  • Lawyers agree, the best way to beat these camera tickets is throw them in the trash and ignore them, since they lack personal service of process by signature. In Knoxville cops shoot redlight cameras with bullets, since caps hate being replaced by robocops.

  • Seems like they are trying to replace everything with a bunch of robots. Even trying to turn people into mindless drones that dont even question. It's funny how these cops are now LAW ENFORCERS not peace keepers anymore.

  • mister theres no such thing as "peace" anymore. think of the whole world as a battlefield cause thats all it really is now a days

  • instead of red light camera spray @ $30.00 a can its cheaper if you get red spray paint & a straw from a WD40,or brake parts cleaner can and shoot the cameras lens! just cover your face first, works wonders nobody gets a ticket until they clean it up!!!EGGS WORK WELL TOO!!

  • accidents went up after the cameras were running for some time, mostly rear end accidents, people get fearful of the yellow light turning red too fast and having to pay a (outragously priced) fine and slam on their brakes causing the person behind them to run right into them, too many drivers that have been driving for years have that natural instinct to hit the gas when the yellow light appears

  • Then the person behind was driving too close to the vehicle in front - that is the only cause of rear end shunts not anything else.

  • I live in Toledo Ohio, here the streets are too congested, if you try to leave space in front of you for the vehicle in front of you, someone always cuts in, the cameras are a hazard and unethical. The only purpose they serve well is taking pictures of speeders, that i dont disagree with because i obey the speed limit laws. Every area is different, but its a safety hazard in Toledo

  • Unethical? Which ethic do they contravene? Attempting to reduce road traffic accidents at intersections is somehow wrong? Red light cameras aren't designed to record speeders - just people who don't anticipate the possibility of a light changing colour and driving accordingly. Roads are congested in every major western city.

  • THE ONLY REASON THEY GO UP IS A REASON TO MAKE THE CITY MONEY. They dont care about accidents, they just want money. The city will just say that they do it for traffic because it sounds better. Anyway, if you travel the speed limits there will be no reason for somebody to slam the brakes, not saying anybody does though.

  • Not saying it is true America, but in the UK we have a large percentage of empty camera housings that only have a dummy flash unit. These are purely to reduce speed and collect zero revenue.

  • Laws govern driving but in America we are taught that if you can get away with it isn't illegal. I want to obey the law but our streets are overcrowded all too often I am forced to drive much slower than the posted speed limit in urban areas. Either reduce the amount of motorists or make more streets. We have too many dipshirts clogging up the road I see people stopped at green arrows all the time.Cameras are good to see who is at fault that should be all not to generate money.

  • 300% increase in crashes at robocop intersections in TN. Redflex robocops replace US police, courts and govt with private military contractors in Australia that get all profits, which is treason punished by death penalty in US Code. Video game: Shoot the Redflex Robocops in Knoxville TN, how to terminate 1,001 Robocops with bullets, forbombs, thermite and The Law, plus join the class action and file criminal charges against city councils and copsters: piratenews*org/kill-robocops*html

  • The mythbusters tested this and it didn't seem to work if I remember correctly. I Think the state of the lighting wasn't in the protectors favor in their tests. It looked very sunny when the news crew tested it.

  • here in new york is not about safety is about cash!!people still go thru red lights no mater what!THE CITY IS CASHING IN BIG TIME!! they place the camera in the name of safety to justify it. you idiots have to think a little here! laws are made to generate lots of cash! your mom pops etc got hit by a car? well idiot the red light camera would not had stop that...

  • yup go to the nearest auto store get clear not sure of spelling lacker or laguer. clean your plate first make sure is not greasy spray lacker nice and eavenly let it dry then you could polish it further witha soft cloth. make sure is clear lacker..can is about 6 dollars or less, i have got caugt in the middle of the intersection and had to pay a fine fuck the cameras.and the bastards the like them.

  • just spray a couple of coats of high gloss laquor on your plates

  • Yeah, wonderful for those ass*oles who buy the product, keep running those red lights & maim or kill innocent people! Sure worth the $30 to put someone in the Hospital BECAUSE YOU DRIVE LIKE A IDIOT!

  • And when the damn light has: 1) a 1/2 second yellow light and ... 2) you get about 10 or 15 feet away from the light and this too-quick yellow light goes right to red as you go under the light? It's happened to me lots of times and yes, I thank God there isn't any of these retard red light cameras in the state I live in! I think they ARE a scam and if I were to ever get caught by one, well, I always carry a toolbox in my trunk, perfect for unbolting certain poles from the ground...

  • Red Light camera's are a money making scheme and instead of helping it does more harm. It's now a race to make it through the intersection. GO speed racer GO!

  • I agree, darkmanzz.

  • And people who don't agree with red light cameras, agree it is is okay to put lives at risk?

Also common sense would prove, people are not happy with either cameras or police catching red light runners, as they think this a Police State,

  • Driving puts lives at risk. In fact, life is one big risk. But I think it's worth it to be free! Any attempt to eliminate risk from society will only eliminate freedom, and will never even reduce the risk.

  • Anybody that thinks red light cameras are a good idea is a pawn for Big brother society that we are becoming--machines don`t do police work--we will all be sorry

  • i think they are a good idea, my aunt was killed by some idiot running a red light.. just dont run reds.. simple as that.

  • I'm really sorry about your aunt. However, the camera wouldn't have prevented that. It would have just taken a picture of the driver seconds before the fatal accident.

  • Running red lights isn't cool. But neither are red light cameras! If the police want to catch red-light runners, they should do it themselves. And anybody who thinks you should always stop on a yellow is just asking for trouble! Stop only if you're far enough from the intersection to do so safely, without slamming the brakes.

  • Easiest way of all not to get caught -- if you see a yellow light before you get to the intersection, don't try to go through. Just obey the signal. That's what they're there for.

  • You do know that red light cameras causes more people to make hard stops, and are statistically proven to cause more accidents than they prevent, right?

  • you got a good point there my friend, hard stops can get you rear ended especially if theres someone behind you and if their tailgating you. we get lots of tailgators in MO

  • yellow means stop or slow down, if the speed of your vehicle is to close to making it through the intersection. Are you suppose to just stop on green and block traffic?

  • Look for the video "Red Light Camera not Infallible"

  • i tried this spray to fool the license plate cams for the 407 private highway outside of toronto and i still got a bill in the mail for every kilometre i drove (meaning it doesnt work at all)

  • we could have told you it wont work on the 407 anymore because they use constant light not a flash, you need to get a cover from photoblockercanada(.)com if you really want to run the toll.

  • This thing was advertised to not be illegal (for red light cams), but skipping a toll HAS to be against the law.

  • that spray is pretty cool

  • red light cameras should be banned---let cops do their job,not machines

  • Cops do their jobs *with* the cameras. All the videos are reviewed by actual officers.

  • this product should be banned

  • Speed cameras may be cashcows, but seriously, how many people run red lights? how could running red lights possibly be safe? This thing should be banned.

  • I've seen the videos taken of redlight cams in action. You don't have to run the light in the traditional sense - if you go through on a yellow there's a good chance of being flashed before you've cleared the intersection. Just the fact that they're making millions off these cameras tells you that there's more to it than simple traffic enforcement.

  • People talk all the law and order B/S--till it infringes on them-cameras are cashcows and wrong

  • I need some over here at Fremont, CA

  • Here is an idea... DONT RUN FREAKING RED LIGHTS!!!

  • like somebody said earlier the're useless against new digital stuff

  • Where the hell can I buy this thing?!

  • search online but make sure you're city doesn't use the digital cameras (no flash)

  • it might be all fun and games to scam the cops but whats about the idiot who is going to kill someone the next time he or she runs the red stay in side the law peoples there only in place for our saftey

  • Maybe people should just start paying attention to traffic laws?

  • Screw that, FUCK AUTHORITY!

  • They are phasing out the old flash cams, digital is the name of the game now and it does not need a flash. Better invent a discreet flip down frame to beat the digitals.

  • Interesting product
