You have to take some things into account. 1) You need a waterproof case, and that would be kind of hard to put on your head. 2) Depends on how deep your taking it, what type of camera, etc. If you want, send us a message with more specifics and I can see if I can help you out. ... Try a different method. :P

This thing is pretty much only good for walking. UNLESS! Unless you cut the screw to be much shorter. Then it could have many more uses. But if you're using it for paintball, make sure you don't get shot in the camera. Ouch!

im pretty sure any normal camera screwed onto there for anything other that than hiking/walking would just unscrew itsself from the vibration unless you put thread lock on it.

i bet it would if you got a shorter bold than I did. And also, make sure your helmet isn't made of foam on the inside. Actually, I'm pretty sure all helmets do, so find a place that doesn't have foam. Because when if goes through the foam it makes it more wobbly. But if you can drill through a solid peice it will stay more stable.

um, in sure you could use the same theory. mine turned out really loose. because in the helmet it is foam. so the foam is really weak. you could probably fin a helmet that is all plastic and it will work. also dont use a heay camera. dont use a really expensive camer if you dont wanna take risks.

you should also go online and look at a atc2k camera. They are really small and you can mount them to any thing. That camera is also waterproof. It only costs about 100$
