there is no chance in hell at all that this is better then the original. where is the epic atmosphere? I LOVE black metal, but BM vocals will never work for this song IMO. it doesn't have any power or emotion in it either. Its not a very good cover at all.

Clear vocals doesn't have to be devoid of agression. The original of this song has immense feeling in concatenation to the lyrics... I like this version aswell as it's angry yet gloomy. Really gloomy and powerful... Prefer original still as Quorthons voice and the instrumentation sound of the band is irreplacable... Yet this song deserves 5 stars. Interesting and original cover!

i have to say i like this better than the original since it sounds a lot darker, and doesn't have quorthon's clear vocals, which in metal are just, well, gay. if i wanted to hear vocals with no aggression that i can understand plainly, i'd listen to pop, or that christian biggot piece of shit dave mustaine and megadeth. hail the darkness, embrace the madness!

@Graverotical Your ignorance is absolutely astounding. You do realise metal was built around clean vocals right? Black Sabbath, Saxon, Iron Maiden, even Judas Priest to an extent. Venom was a band that really brought more aggressive "harsh" vocals into metal, and metal was running strong 10 years before Venom came into the scene.
