Another reason the liberal media played this one down was because the perp was a black convert to islam. This kind of story makes white liberals uneasy. As usual Krauthammer has this right. Very true except for one thing--this guy wasn't exactly "liberal"--maybe in the same way that bin Laden is a "liberal"--you can't use that kind of language for terrorists. Anyone who kills law abiding Americans is a threat to America. I personally hope that every member of operation rescue or their kids or wives gets pregnant and finds out at two months they have cancer and the only way to survive is to get an abortion and get chemo and if they don't they both will die. You realize that your example covers a tiny fraction of one percent of the abortions performed in the US each year, right? You also must realize that virtually every law ever proposed by anyone, Left or Right, makes exceptions for the mothers health, rape and incest, right?

Krauthammer nailed it. The liberal talking point is that all pro-life conservatives are potential murderers. Yet when a Muslim fundie murders a soldier (and said he wanted to kill more), the liberal media yawns.

BTW, Muslim fundies have murdered many, many more Americans (and Muslims for that matter) than Christian fundies.

To be fair, Chirstian fundies are a LOT bigger threat to our individual freedoms than some Muslim fundies in caves 3,000 miles away.
