Love all your videos, can`t beat homemade equipment, this is a proper mans gym.Great to see this one though outside in the snow,i thought i was the only one who did this,i have a log burner outside and i get a fire going to keep warm while i train.I`ve just posted a couple of videos of my homemade pulldown and squat machines.
Thanks for not letting me have an excuse anymore... really appreciate that. How do you warm up? light cardio, foam rolling, dynamic stretching, running through brick walls? This is insanely manly.
@311JARVIS I do several warmups when its that cold you keep the rest time to a minimum. I cant wait till this winter my lifts are always good when its cold.
315 rows? Good LORD, I thought 185 was a lot haha, but you've been putting in years of work so go figure. Good thing I have a pass to the gym! Why don't you go to one?
@DreadfulControversy haha thanks I like doing my own thing at home I used to go to one long time ago....believe it or not ive made more gains training with less equipment just sticking to basics thats all I need.
@MightyJoeBlack95 thats a great movement I might try them my next workout. I use rows to help my deadlifts. I try to stretch my lats out when doing rows I could see how Pendlay rows could help even more. I like the 5x5 routine I use it on all of my movements from time to time.
@mitchelltom32 It is a good movement. It allows for very little "cheating" and in only 6 weeks from starting with 30kg and adding 2.5kg each session I have already started to get some good back muscle development. That also speaks wonders to the program. My Deadlift has also heavily improved the muscle in my Lower Back (I did 80kg today which is around BW. I should do 1X5 but I did 3X5 to work on technique and a bit of grip strength, it is still easy enough though). They are newbie gains though.

Have you ever done Pendlay Rows?
MightyJoeBlack95 6 months ago
@MightyJoeBlack95 no havent tried them. My back gets fairly sore rowing like this, I do these with chinups and deadlifts on back day.
mitchelltom32 6 months ago
@mitchelltom32 I was just wondering what you thought of them. I am doing them on Stronglifts 5X5.
