First off, Reba sang it in WAY too low a key, and given it starts off in a minor key, even when it went into seguewayed into a major key it kept a real dark quality too it. WAY to dark of a quality. And that isn't what this song is suppoed to be about. Reba could have sung in Marie's key and should have. I love Reba, please understand, but sometimes the keys she sang certain songs in were just too low and didn't suit her voice.
