  • Simply...Wonderful. The best singer and compositor of the century, We love you Roger, thanks for your music. For ever...

  • que du bonheur. vraiment génial j'adoreeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Normally I would agree with the ixnay on the sound delay thing but i love this song - 1 of my all time faves - it was eerie and trippy and made it singular. then it was OVERDONE all over the place! I like it without the sound delay also by the way and the song certainly doesn't need any technical (albeit antiquated now) whistles and bells - his voice and the melody work great all by themselves. BAM BAM too frightening - the fires becoming colder...

yeah - one of my very favorite songs ever!

  • amazing , loved it so much

  • In my opinion, this is one version of Hide In Your Shell, that really recalls the rock era of Supertramp. Since a decade or two, Roger really transformed his own songs; in this title, he usually adds a delay effect on his voice (which I hate). Also, his digital piano contribute a lot by changing the sound of the piano.

If I could have any influence on Roger, I would ask him to just try to bring back his old Wurlitzer electric piano, and for this song, bring back the back vocals at the end!

  • I love this musician, love him to bits!! Can't believe I have only just discovered him!!

  • @irfrapg don't know your age but from 1967 to the early 80's there is a whole wealth of fantastic music to chose from between Motown and Rock & Roll

  • Possibly my favorite song in the world and Roger's voice is as wonderful as ever!

  • great track from a great album.

  • Thanks for sharing your archives of Roger's work. Such an amazing man he is.
