Nice video, reason is such a nice program. Cool that it can be linked to Cubase to so one can use both at the same time.Reason got nice presets to.Im a big fan of the subtractor. If you want to listen to some good electronic music you can check my channel and have a listen if you feel like it : )
same old shit everyone makes this gay lead. it sucks its not good trance its chav trance you hear this kind of shit coming out of a vaxhall nova with a shit body kit on it
@Baillie1210 Glad so much of your own music you made is on your channel , , , , oh wait, , , you aint made fuck all , , , so why dont you fuck off and leave music creation to those who can, and those who want to be listening and learning . . .
@Baillie1210 Why do you think Im watching a tutorial ?? duh !! The point Im making is there aint alot of tut's here about pattern creation so this one fits the bill nicely.
I been using reason for 4 months now, But Im still trying to figure out everything, i got all the basic steps down, and i been searching in the help bar where the fade is but it keeps bringing me back to not what i want to do. Can you help me find where the fading is? To fade in and out of the music or sound?
@11NightWonderer11 you mean a low pass filter? theres two ways of doing this. First way is to automate the filter inside the synthesiser and the second way is to create the ECF-42 envelope controlled filter and take the env. amt knob right down so the env doesn't affect the filter. Then Automate the Frequency and resonance and make sure when the lead is not being affected by the frequency, that the resonance knob is right down.
Yes im also looking for a good patchbase because i can't find any good hard dance / hardstyle reason refill/samplepack and synth sounds. Anyone please?
good demo mate, was just wondering if you have made a demo on making your own synths yet?im trying to make a hard trance/style tune and your synth sounds really responsive and high pitched compared to some of the shit ive downloaded!any ideas where i could download some club sounding synths?im new to all this so any help would be good or if anyone else would like to comment that would be great, thanks =)
Good Demo on how to get the ball rolling with making a trance melody..I found this piece rather generic though. I personally find it better to play in the notes manually with of course the quantize during recording feature on. It makes wonders. I used to pencil in all the notes but it was quite tedious. Not as rewarding either. You can't get intricate rhythms..or at least I can't with penciling in notes. Other than that great tutorial
It's probably one of the easiest sequencers to learn after FL Studio.
It may look overwhelming if you're new, but it all works intuitively and it replicates a software imitation of a hardware studio. (virtual mixers and synths that you see at the beginning)
It's definitely one of the most rewarding programs to pick up and learn. There are loads of tutorials on youtube, but you'll have to find the ones that covers the basics first up.
Will just be an instrument for Reason mate. Reason has all it's own stuff. You don't get to plug in anything really, but the instruments and sounds it comes loaded with are excellent and you can create pretty much any sound.
Looks like he's combined instruments and FX to make the lead. Great sound :D
lol "shut your face" i get my mate telling me what to do with my tracks all the time. i know that feeling. you just want what you hear in your head. fucken good result man, liked it. you got any hardstyle?
used to love reason it was the greatest music software for me and i saw loads cubase ableton fruity loops and much more. reason had the best sounds , vast colleciton of instruments and user interface freindliness is just awesome.
nah mate we take any type of dance music, as long as it's good. And we definitely DO take hardcore mixes and productions. You thinking about putting out some stuff??
I really liked this video, it was inspirative, but I was hoping more of a throughout video on how to create all the things step by step cause I'm new to Reason. There aren't many videos that instruct people to create something like this from scratch, what sounds etc you are using. That'd be useful if you could make a video like that.
wow, i learned more from your video on writing a trance lead than reading 20 dance music books lol!!! could you recommend some good refills for reason 4.0?
heya... shithot m8 thanku :D im doin a course at SAE glasgow an i think i jus learned more bout the practical side of reason from this haha!! amazin lol
You wanna head on over to out site and check out the podcasts, if you like this, u'll like them, although we got tol we had to tone down the language!
