What a surprise to see this! I had the good fortune to see Buzz and the Flyers at the Mudd Club in lower Manhattan in the early 1980s. They were tight and they were swinging! Later I found out they had an LP- bought it at Bleeker Bob's. I am really sorry to hear Buzz is no longer with us. Thank you for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guys are still THE greatest resurrection Rockabilly band ever....they knew how to really swing...a trait few possess. Michael gene could give Cliff Gallup a real run for his money.
Saw these guys back in '79 and '80 and thus began my love for rockabilly which continues to this day. Thanks Buzz. Any more vids available? Loved the way he did "Sixteen Tons"
Michael Gene was a master . Never more so than on New girlfriend . RIP Mike

Saw these guys regularly in the early 80s- I think they played Hurrahs in NYC frequently. GREAT band.

In the early 80's, a Night Flight segment featured Buzz & the Flyers performing "Little Pig" at The Peppermint Lounge. I'd love to see it again.
