Yes, it's true, radiohead fans and muse fans mingle, but if you listen to Muse, at least Matt, draws more inspiration from classical music, and The Resistance is a fine example of the large sources of music that this band has drawn inspiration from, such as Blondie and Queen for these two songs, just as a for example. :\

to be as blunt as their old stuff is inspired by radiohead is an understatement. Yes in their early stuff there are bits of radiohead in their music, as much as Thom Yhorke is a genius Matt Bellamy has flown right past radiohead. I admit on the new album there are a lot of queen influences and no Matt isnt Freddie Mercury, but hes not tring to be, and he doesnt need to be. His music is fantastic, the complex and yet simplicity of his music spans out in to all borders of music genres.
