This is my 2nd time going through the anime and I have never heard of D meaning drift. The manga is still going, we may never truly know anytime soon.

And from what I've seen, these next guys are seriously crazy, supras, nsxs, evos, 350zs, all heavily packed with body kits and performance upgrades.
