  • I am so in love with him...such an amazing animal.

  • I just made mention that I was reading your book on another blind cat youtube video. So nice to see the fellow I am reading about in action and you too, you are a blessed kind person and may you be rewarded always for your kindness and love shown the animals. I just love your book I cant put it down, I fall asleep trying to stay awake to read on and find it laying next to me in the morning! You are a great writer, may we hope you write more books about Homer and your other cats too?

  • I just bought this book, I'm only 30 pages in, and earlier as I was reading I was already fighting to hold back to the tears. This is gonna be beautiful. <3

  • Just finished reading Homer's Odyssey this morning - GR8 story!! Fell in love with Homer - how could we not? He IS an amazing cat - absolutely!! You are very fortunate to have met Homer and he is very lucky to have met you!! Thank you for sharing his story. Very best wishes for a huge success with this book. Thank you for donating a portion of the sales proceeds to an animal charity. Wish more people could be as generous with their love for ALL animals.

  • Just finished ready the book. I was so riveted by the story! Thank you Gwen for making this story possible for the rest of the world to read.

  • A moving story. Great book! Makes us feel life is worth living, no matter what the odds are. We all should be brave and be able to take that leap of faith.

  • i have a blind calico cat that my husband had found at his shop. her eyelids are closed just like homers. the vet said she was born this way and it is genetic. she is the coolest cat. she walks around the house just like any other cat and has no problems. her name is kibbie or lbk(little blind kitty) and i love her so much. it is amazing that animals can adjust to things as humans do when something is different. amazing animals!

  • I just love how he's got that sachet of catnip ripped open and how it's all over the floor. So sweet!

  • OMG I LOVE her book I hope someday I can go see her and meet homer

  • Awwwww!! thank you for this. You are a beautiful kind person. What a sweet story!

  • Saw Homer's story on part of an Animal Planet show and after hearing about how fearless he was, I went and got the Audio Book.

Wonderfully written and read _ I highly recommend it.

I also have a black kitty with a snaggle tooth.

  • I learned about this book while reading cat fancy. I am a cat lover myself and when I read about this book, it made me feel very emotional.

Also, I have a black cat named Sahara, and every time I see a black cat, it reminds me of her. The curious thing about my cat, is that she has a medium length tail, which is thinner at the trunk and wider at the end. When she gets scared about something, her tail looks like a feather duster.

    CATS ARE AMAZING!

  • I love you, Homer and Gwen!!!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • Just started reading this tonight. I have a 3 legged black female named Tiki who, like Homer, doesn't miss what she never had. I would have adopted Homer in an instant! So nice to see Homer on video - what an awesome story.

  • I absolutely love the book. What an amazing family Gwen's is.

Both Homer and Gwen are inspirational. I fell in love with Vashti and Scarlett is Scarlett x

Massive shout out to Gwen for donating $10 000 to The Blind Cat Sanctuary x

  • Homer's too cute! I don't understand why no one would want to adopt him. God meant for you to adopt him, Gwen. God Bless!!!

  • I am so glad to have discovered Gwen's bok .It is so inspiring and I am glad she decided to tell the world about Homer! I wish many blessing upon them!

  • WE LOVE YOU HOMER!!!! AND GWEN TOO !!!

  • I've just finished reading the book. It was great. I acctually started loving Homer myself. My sister adopted a blind cat as well...named Layla, she's also my sister's third cat :p. I was once laughing once crying reading Homer's Odyssey. Regards to the author:D
