Thank you for your feedback. I chose the clean look purposefully to fit a project I was working on, although, I can definitely see where adding blur and some random motion would enhance the "psychedelic" effect.

This is a very clear design/pattern. Perhaps if you made things a little more erratic or the edges blurry it would look better.
