Why do we call ourselves a democracy when the publics vote doesn't even count.Who has the most money seems to be the name of the game, just look at our joke of a president. Daddy bought him that title.
I'm not surprised that most male superdelegates will vote for Obama. This is all about sexism, and there're men out there who're worried about a woman becoming the president. What are they be afraid of? Give Hillary a chance to prove that she's more capable of doing the job. She has the backing of millions of voters. Don't their voices count? The DNC reminds us of the government of Zimbabwe who's as corrupted as you can get. Something is fishy & the voters will not let this pass so easily.
What difference does it make what this or that candidate's program is unless he or she is accountable in office?
Bush and Cheney steal the election, lie the to Congress into war, and steal you blind, destroying the constitution in the process and you dumb fuckers are worried about who the NEXT president will be.
Wake the fuck up!
Wake your Congressman up.
Demand answers from the candidates on impeachment!
Can someone PLEASE post a Video response from todays (Sunday)Fox News interview and juxtapose it to that "Fargo" scene where Jerry Lunderberg is saying: "this is my deal here, Wade" he's got the exact same look and shakes.
When is the US going to have real elections instead of 'SELECTIONS'?
The superdelgate system and electoral college winner-take-all fiasco are fraudulent, anti-democratic tools to leave 'we the people' out of the equation in deciding on the future course and fate of our nation...
What the DNC is doing to Florida & Michigan voters is wrong. It's a power play using misdirected mass punishment against the individual voter. If the DNC wants to bully the Florida & Michigan voters by not seating their delegates, then Florida & Michigan voters should use their vote to boycott the DNC's presidential nominee at the polls in the general election and allow their States to go republican in the electoral college vote in November. This will show the DNC just who really owns the power.
yes, but those states knowingly broke the rules. If they decide to count the votes then there needs to be a re-vote to be fair to both democratic candidates. Hillary now wants the states to count because she won and needs those extra delegates because she is behind. But she won because Obama's name was not even on the ballot in Michigan and because he stuck to his word that he would not campaign in Florida, unlike Clinton, even though they both knew that the delegates would not be awarded.
The voters in Florida didn't pick the primary date, their Republican dominated legistlators did. Bottom line, the electoral college elects Presidents, not popular vote and we need Florida in Novemeber. Check out the Florida blogs, the Republicans are already wooing the disillusioned Florida voters. We must seat the Florida delegates to win in November.
im just saying that it is unfair to seat the delegates as they stand now. Hillary won, but in both states it was an unfair election. I agree that the people of both states should have their voices heard, but they also deserve to have fair elections.
Clinton did not campaign in Florida or Michigan she did thank the voters for coming to the polls and voting for her. It was the voters decision to show up and vote. They did and they show not be punished for some out of THEIR control. Obama could have put his name on the ballot. It's his fault that he didn't.
There is a list of superdelegates and a google map, who they are and who they are voting for. Do a search on google and you will find them. A useful tool to contact them if they vote contrary to our vote!
I can't believe that some ron paul supporters would sink soo low as insulting people who are on the other side, It's people like you who are the reason ron paul isn't winning.
Yeah and those nominee's can promise legislation for those super delagates to get thier votes. Can anyone say buying the nomination. The super delagate is a bad idea and they will shape the end of this close race. Really Sad if you ask me
Super delegates are not democratic! Hillary will do anything to get elected. Please donate to Obama, even if just $5. We need all the help we can get.
Good clear explanation. You left out the part about Super delegates being a response to the '72 campaign. Basically, it's so the party can be sure the person they want gets in. The farce that is US democracy.

Very well explained. It is sad reflection of US democracy that superdelegates may well decide the next Democratic nominee.
