The things that I'd like to hear in every amp demo video are:

1. A high bent note sustained until it fades, just bent once, so that I can hear where the decay happens.

2. Pinch harmonics.

3. Chunky riffs like @ 7:13

4. Clean sounds

5. bluesy stuff like @ 6:42

Versatility

Good audio! That varies video to video. I wish that more people would point the mic & keep it steady to only hear the amp's audio changes. The jaw drop part is perfect though!

I don't know what you think Rob, but in all the NAMM 2011 You Tube videos I've seen, with the exception of the one Phil X did, I've been pretty underwhelmed by the guitarists doing the demonstrations. For example, a lot of fanboys (like myself) would probably by this amp to get some of that Yngwie mojo and yet this guy sounds nothing like him.

I cancelled my AFD100 pre-order because of this. Was more interested in the AFD for the features (attenuation, etc) rather than the Slash thing. However it would appear all the new high end Marshalls will have this, so thinking I'll wait for the next JVM? Would love the YJM, but 1,500's a bit rich for my blood, and the controlls being spread over both sides would drive me nuts. Even if do does look cool.
