southgate was a proper shithole. it was built in the 70's but they moved loads of 'problem families' there in the 80's and it became no mans land. it was demolished in the late 80's'early 90's and they built new houses - but the scumbags stayed!
does anyone still live in the washing machines, remember them well. looked out of date when thet were built. having said that my house is a 100 year old so not gettin at anyone there .
thanks for your vid. my old town, i feel so nostalgic about runcorn again even though i never recognised half of your pictures. i did see the old town hall ( i lived in birch road) i remember the car transporter and went over it on my uncles bike & sidecar. nice memories, it's going on my ipod x top man
Thank you for reviving memories of my old home town. I lived on Weston Road for 23 years. The town has changed alot since I left in 1984. Please do share any other photo's you may have especially of Weston and Weston Point area.
