I see where you are comming from but i like this game but not multi player mainly cause i suck at multi lol.But there have been worse games than this that got a high score to start with one being Turning Point: Fall of Liberty in a few mags it got 7 or more and even got advert.Then 2 days after release score drop below 5.I belive no matter what the game if you throw enough money at it they will try tell you how great it is another game in this class is mind jack.Lol need i say more.

I loved this game man. It just lost support more quickly than I would have hoped. Now that I got GoW3, it is done for me

but yes, I agree. it was a decent game, and I actually really like it. but it just didn't really deliver, i dunno.

I found hit detection ok on this game but i kinda agree on the game not being up to scratch. think it was just thrown together (live wise) not many game types and does get very boring, very quickly. storyline is awesome but the levels are short and not enough in my opinion. still worth a play tho

hey man I did hear that the hit detection has improved since then. I do not have it anymore unfortunately. However, no offense to you but, I disagree with the reviewers only reviewing the multiplayer and giving it an 8. COD gets 8s and 9s just out of multiplayer. and they don't do anything differently. This is just my opinion however. I have played crysis 2 and thought it was great though

I totally get your annoyance.

Crysis 2 is on all levels a much better game.

If they gave Homefront an 8 (it's either a small 7 or a big 6) then Crysis 2 should have been a 10.

The level design alone knocks Homefront out of the park.

Homefront suffers on the same level as many FPS today - the campaign is way too short.

I have suspected some of the reviews I've read over the years to be... shall we say, not entirely honest so I'm with you on that as well.

I see everyone saying homefront's campaign's length is short who cares? Most of the people saying that are probally black ops players as well and its campaign was as interesing as homefronts' campaign and the same length. So, I don't see why they don't complain about black ops campaign being short as well. Riddle Me That.

Ehhhhhhh homefront has great multiplayer but the campain is short and the m110 is too cheap but other than that I love the game

see heres the thing. people are playing call of duty these days, not giving a shit about any other game what so ever. for starters, crysis is totally different from this game. second, your whole deal with "this is my oppinion" turned into expressing your feelings about this game in a bad way, not even expressing the good things about this game. not saying your not intitled to your own opinion, just dont say the the bad things about this game when there are good.

I got Crysis 1 and it's Crysis Warhead working on my Aspire 5742G Laptop

Works pretty well I can run medium graphics settings at the sacrifice of a mouse cursor that curiously does not appear. But had to change how my computer screen fits in order to play, that is one bad ass game ironically I've not been on Crysis 2 yet only the MP Demo :(

This is exactly why I've stopped reading reviews. Some of my favourite films and games have gotten terrible reviews. Often I find that if I read a bad review prior to playing a game it ruins my experience even if I like it myself.

I have stopped reading gaming magazines when the one I read wrote: "No PC player has a lower resolution than 1280x1024." They seem to be in their own private world, and I don't trust them enough to give them money. I check out Wikipedia for new releases, read about them and if it seems to me like a fun game, I check out the official site. If I like it, I buy it, I play it and I enjoy it.

As I said, I don't trust the reviewers anymore.

No magazine that is dedicated solely to once console should be looked at for reliable reviews. The fact is all review sites and sources are a bit biased. Halo Reach getting near perfect scores across the board show that very well. Game was an absolute POS, terrible campaign, and no new muli-player but "OH NO ITS HALO, IT MUST BE GOOD". I hate bullshit like that.
