The baby boomers had a party for decades and are now only realizing they are getting older. The resources have been chewed up by the baby boomers and even still demand more and now want money from the future. I was told by a baby boomer to get a job and be happy no matter what the pay was. That was fine in the 60's when jobs grew on trees and they didn't start out at age 22 with 40,000 dollars in debt.

The Baby Boomers: whiny, narcissistic, self-indulgent people with a simple philosophy: "Gimme that! It's mine!" These people were given everything, everything was handed to them, and they took it all, sold it all; sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll, and they stayed loaded for twenty years and had a free ride. But now they're staring down the barrel of middle-age burnout, and they don't like it.
I'm sorry that a bunch of these people sold themselves on a ponzi scheme for the last 45+ yrs... but Why should I have to pay for that as a young person? This generation convinced themselves that they could cheat and get away with it. Why should younger people have to pay for that?
Social Security has to be reformed in order to save it. And its going have to a combination of raising the Retirement Age for White Collar workers. And cutting benefits for wealthy workers.
Regardless of the state of the economy or how high the retirement age is raised, for the baby boomers it is just another challenge they are willing to face head on. There have been so many events during their lifetime which at the time were also deemed a "crisis", but they still came out on top even stronger and more creative.

well we have reached a crisis in human life cycles. People are living too long. The way nature works is there should be a lot of kids, young adults, moderate amount of middle age people, and very few elderly. Life span should be no more than 70-75.

Humans are unique that we've NEARLY broken from the laws of nature, and as such, we need to deal with troubles and problems which aren't in nature. Look at culture and society. Because of divorce and make-up and liberal sexuality, women and men CAN still be "social" and "young". I think its brilliant. You can be 50 and still have ur whole life ahead of u :D
you think living to be 70-80 is not long enough? you want to live to the point where your body is literally failing on you.? make up is artificial. divorce is just fucked up with no legitimate reason (like getting abused or being damaged emotionally/physically etc). I mean a real reason not some bullshit reason that many divorcees are using these days. I've got no comment on liberal sexuality because apparently that's just the way mammals work.

I dont know where I stand on this, but I do know when times change you have to change.
-Lifespan is literally reaching the 100s.
-People in their 50s and 60s are staying in the social/dating game.
-There's more opportunities for people to do more with their life.
-Experience is so important in jobs.
Again, I dunno where I stand on it, but change beckons itself.
