I've had my 26's on for almost 2 months and I love them. To me the riding really isn't that different. Not to mention all the comments and looks I seem to get when ever I'm out in it. Thanks for answering my previous questions.
is that a 2wd or 4 x 4? Within the next few days I'm going to get me some wheels and as of now I plan to go with 24's but deep down i really want 26's but the roads here are pretty bad in places and it will be my daily driver. i also will be making a few long trips this year and belive the 24's may ride better and the tires may last a bit longer. what's your opinion?
@ballababy1999 It is 4x4....yeah i almost went with 24s but just thought the 26s looked better especially on a truck, the 24s to me still looked kinda small. but if the roads are bad then you might be safer on 24s with more tire. they might ride smoother too. but the 26s arent bad for having rubberband tires. still pretty smooth. my tires still look brand new and my truck is my daily driver.
You might want to look into a leveling kit for the rearend. They look a lot better that way though when you have large diameter after markets on it. Mine has 20's and it looks silly with the ass stuck up in the air. There just always seems to be too much gap left in the wheel wells. You can find some that are air powered to give instant leveling when hauling too. Just a thought man, nice wheels though. You can fix the rubbing my putting spacers on the wheel for offset. Or pound the fender out.
Man that is cold. Probably the nicest one I've seen. Do you have a problem with your wheels rubbing at any time? I have an '07 and I've been trying to make my mind up about going with 26's or not. Once again that's a nice truck.
@ballababy1999 thanks man. it only rubs a little bit when i turn the steering all the way as far as it goes but since i rarely need to do that it never rubs. other than that no problems at all. drives jut fine.
what a waste of a truck
