Wow how long does the sorting process take in this school? It took about 2 weeks for my high school choral teacher to split us up into tenors, baritones, and bass and even then she's still in the process of splitting the tenors to tenor 1 and 2 and the baritones into high bari's and low bari's.

This video made me smile. That is so wonderful that you got to have some of the cast of FAME come. They are wonderful and the performance was breath taking. I loved it beyond words. I dont even know what to say. I have some teachers that I love very much and are wondeful to the students. Remind me of you. I disagree. That negates the hard work that they and their teacher put into this. They are no more or less naturally talented than any other group of kids the same age anywhere. What separates them is determination, aspiration and work. And a great teacher. If you school isn't doing this it's not because your kids can't or are less talented. It's because they don't have a teacher who can both inspire and train them.

Good grief, I didn't mean anything negative by it. And there has to be some natural talent to work with or these kids might not have learned what they needed to in such a short time. I wasn't negating the time, effort, or work that the kids and Mr. B put into their performance.
