The trouble with the NHS dentists is that they get paid a lot to do an extraction rather than trying to save a tooth. I've found that some UK dentists are not to be trusted. One I went to was constantly giving me fillings, I eventually stopped going to the dentist (6 years now) at all and my teeth have been ok. Now I'm considering going to Poland for implants and new crowns (the old ones keep falling out and I keep being charged to have them put back). It's rip-off Britain.
