  • Yet again Made in Sweden hehe. Prooves the point. we Swedes loves to blow things to pieces well yeh kinda haha

  • dear santa....

  • The Swedish armed forces? Really? When they say an "army of one" there, they literally mean it

  • Now i know what i want for my birthday!

  • and if i have a miror

  • and if theres VERY thick smof/fog/smoke..... ?

  • @tarziq then this "wonder of american technologie" just fails..

  • @TheKiwiSniper This is a Sweedish tech... So... hmm... You are a moron

  • Comment removed

  • @tarziq

it has night and IR sights so it can see through fog

  • damn...the swede's make serious weapons..!!.. they do not play around..

  • Try them on blackhawks.

  • It sure takes a long time to set this thing up not really practical for fast movers

  • It seems like an incredibly effective system to destroy airplanes and helicopters sitting on the runway.

  • Are these the same one supplied to the Mujahidean back in the 80s?

  • @MoronHunterD The C.I.A gave them Stinger Missile, they can be blocked by flares.

  • HMMM NO TOP COMMENT EEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRR IM GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

  • This doesn't sound like a very good anti-aircraft weapon. I would love to see someone keep the boresight on a manuevering fixed wing aircraft going faster than 300 knots.

  • @Icarusdecending82 I've downed several maneuvering fast movers in the simulator no problem and I'm not even a trained missileer. As long as you have LOS and the target hasn't got too much angular velocity, as in flying directly over your head, you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping the crosshairs on the target.

  • @Icarusdecending82 The thing is even fast movers can't pull maneuvers that you can't follow by keeping the crosshairs on the target. The only thing the target can do is fly behind something that blocks your line-of-sight.

  • @Icarusdecending82 To be fair I have to admit nobody else in my group quite figured out how to guide the missile. They couldn't even hit a hovering target! I just realized that the movements of the thumb joystick that you use to keep the crosshair on the target have to be minuscule as the stick is VERY sensitive. Once I figured that out downing planes became child's play. Simulator training is absolutely necessary to get the feeling of the system!

  • Wouldn't it be better to use an IGLA, more portable and takes less time.

  • @zerocker45 what about the Stinger???

  • @jckrypton Well, the IGLA has longer range but it would be good too, better to carry that instead of this huge thing..

  • @jckrypton Stinger - Pros: fire and forget, light and portable, low-cost. Cons: spoofable and jammable, suitable for terrorists.

  • @zerocker45 the IGLA uses IR so it can be jammed by flares for example.

  • @00je00 The Stinger is IR as well... and both, Igla and Stinger have downed a large series of fighter planes, the Stinger downed many Mi-24 Hinds in the Russian Invasion to Afghanistan and in the Gulf War the Igla downed an F-16. In the Operation Deliverate Force the Igla downed one French Mirage 2000. I prefer to carry an Igla or a Stinger into battle than this huge and heavy thing.

  • @00je00 RBS70 is laser beam riding so you have to track the target all the time and is unpractical if used against jets

  • `F

  • @Mousetrapers lolz

  • The only problem is Sweden has nobody to go to war with. LOL

  • @wojtuniakfrog lol xD your right... just a waste of money? maybe they just wanna play =P

  • @wojtuniakfrog Russia? Althought they'd have to get through Finland first.

  • @Hairysteed LOL

  • Right, none here seems to understand the basic idea of the RBS-70:

The Seeker sits in the ASS of the missile, not the front...

The missile isn't looking for light reflected of the target. It merely goes where the soldier is pointing his sight, just Like a TOW incidentally.

But the commands are not transmitted by wire (which can and will break) or radio (which can and will be jammed) but by laser.

And hitting is dependent on the skill of the missileer to keep his sight on target.

  • Outdated system.

  • @DigitalDNA its not outdated system.

  • @thecrackerboy The Russian systems of the same variant are far more superior. This is a good system, suited for a recon role, but it susceptible to error.

  • @DigitalDNA HAHA outdated? you clearly dont know much

  • @AlexBoy123HBG YOU clearly don't know much, not knowing me at all. 70s is outdated faggot.

  • The RBS-70 is not perfect. You have to always keep the plane on target. Not "fire and forget". Using a mirror is impractical because its heavy. A hand mirror just won't do. I never heard of mirror paint before. The answer to that is to fly high and maybe at night.

  • @Mousetrapers I am but i'm lucky because i'm not a fanboy :P

  • The Swedes have a lot of time in their hands. Jet-engines airplanes and war helicopters are the most complex, respected and feared weapon system today. They also have a counter-measures to protect themselves from anti-aircraft technology. To beat that the RBS-70 uses a laser-beam target and destroy the planes. If its within range its a dead duck. It can also double as a tank and armorer personal carrier destroyer. So far nothing else can defeat the RBS-70 rocket.

  • @SuperRip7 and if the chopper dudes uses a mirror , or mirror paint O.O

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperRip7 but it s accually tactical idea , such as metallic paint , etc , (i was just saying :P

  • How the heck do you shoot a fast moving aircraft with a laser guided system! the operator must aim the laser beam to the aircraft at all times. A human can't aim and track a small supersonic cruise missile. This is an anti tank weapon more then an AA weapon. You can only hit slow helis with this. And it CAN be jammed by smoke screens. Modern tanks and helis have laser warning recievers, and tanks deploy smoke screen which blocks laser beams. Tow is better, it doesn't warn enemy LWR's.

  • Can somebody explain me why some anti-aircraft guns bullets explode in the air?

  • @valttu94 Some anti-aircraft guns shoot shells with explosive-time fuses. Basically a few seconds after being shot, a fuse/timer ignites the explosive causing it to explode in the air.

  • @valttu94 you set the fuse of those AA shells before launch. For example, enemy aircraft is at 500 meters altitude. It takes 0.5 seconds for shells to reach that altitude. so you set the fuse to 0.5 seconds before launching.

Or, the shell has a barometer in it which checks the air pressure to get the altitude. You set the heighth, and launch. when the air pressure is equal to the pressure in 500 meters altitude, shell explodes.

Some shells explode when they are near metals using magnets.

  • @napalmstrike2007 Interesting. Probably very expensive rounds.

  • Look at the guys face at 0:53

  • @IamYoddle lol, its not invisible to radar, no stealth aircraft is

  • tillverkad i Sverige :)

  • this is stupid to heavy waist of my corps money dammit !

  • im cod person

  • The US doesn't need to shoot down aircrafts, no country is stupid enough to put one in the air when our F-22's are flying over...

  • @IamYoddle F-22 is not very good in Dogfight, EUROFIGTHER could track F-22 and take it down !

  • @hornborgdk lol dog fights don't happen anymore, Jets are too fast and have long range missiles. F-22 is invisible to radar, it would shoot down any other aircraft long b4 they were close to each other.

  • @IamYoddle

    F-22 program is cancelled.

  • @Terrorkarel We still have almost 200 of them, which is plenty. We stopped making them to focus on the F-35 and the new carrier launch UAV stealth bomber.

  • @IamYoddle

I hope the F-35 does require the maintenance costs and doesn't uses the non water prove radar absorbing pant because were going to get them to replace the F-16 and our military is on a reduced budged.

  • @IamYoddle They said that in Vietnam too, but I guess the times are changing.

  • @IamYoddle F-22 isnt anything special, world stealth also doesnt mean anything. Any Anti-Air, especially Russian, technology would take it down, also they produced so many F-22s, not they cancelled it and gone over F-35. Simple older airplanes, like SU-35, F-22 is just nice meal for it. Even Su-35 doesnt have good stealth like F-22 has, it has radar which can track airplanes more than 100 km away.

  • @realIBeliX You seriously need to read up on your statements. You don't seem to know much about military aircraft.

  • @Iskall91 What did I say wrong? Correct me.

  • @realIBeliX As you wish. Any AA that doesn't use a direct laser to guide the missile, will be next to useless vs the F-22, especially radar guided AA. The radar cross section of the F-22 is equivalent 1cm^2 making it nearly invisible to radar, and pretty much immune to radar guided missiles. It is also designed to have a rather reduced IR signature, making locking on with heat seeking missiles more difficult. So it wont be shot down by Russian anti air, unless they are using optical aiming.

  • Comment removed

  • @realIBeliX F-22 VS SU-35. Russia has 11 of them. So, not much is known about its turn rate and rate of climb or its performance in a dogfight, therefore it we can only guess the outcome. However, in a BVR environment, since the F-22 is nearly invisible to radar, the F-22 will win. Radar, RCS, and missiles is everything there. Radar detection range of the SU-35 radar is 90-200 km depending on the model of the radar.

F-22 radar detection range is around 220km.

  • thats a huge ass launcher, not very comfortable to use i think.

  • this is what the Libyan need against american missiles

  • @Mousetrapers my grip reaper beats this hands down.

  • Doesnt the aussie use this

  • It's so funny that the world still have no idea on what Philippine has. If you think that all your weapons is a perfect ones, well, what we have is more than perfect.

  • how much one of these cost? ill get some

  • lol, look at the dude's face at 0:52

  • how to fool a lazer i wonder a mirror?

  • @Ruckerjd01283 yes make a fighterjet out of mirrors...

  • This sounds like a SAM(Surface To Air Missile)

  • where can i order.....need 20

  • Does the firer have to follw the target with laser until hit?

(just sayin' jet aircraft flying below radar won't be easy to track manually)

  • i want to be the pilot at 0:40!!!!

  • Isn't that in Battlefield in the PC? the old one I meant....hehe

  • wow, anti-missle

  • can I shot down some ufo with this

  • lol, look at the dude's face at :52

  • Glad that this thing isn't in COD. Javelins and SAM Turrets are bad enough.

  • Chuck Norris plays target practice with the RBS-70 missles

  • is that what they call sam turret? check my channel when i got killed with that shit

  • im 316 why?

  • @Mousetrapers this is more battlefield 2 XD

  • the viewer 316 has a special surprise

  • @leluk59 im the 316 viewer 2

  • @leluk59 im the 316 viewer 2. wheres my suprise

  • SAM TURRET =)

  • @MyGamertagSIeepy702 This is newer than the SAM Turret.

  • @Mousetrapers wrong

  • @Mousetrapers SAM turret nuff said

  • This is how we hunt birds in sweden

  • @Litzen2k nice i used nuke to hunt birds

  • @ericown Problem when you hunt with nuke that you get alot more then just birds in the shot...

  • @Litzen2k no...i put put a bird in a place with nothing in it and we blow it up

  • @ericown Sounds very reasonable!

  • wow.. the accuracy is awesome..

  • @Litzen2k Sverige kan sine saker med våpen! Hilsen Norge.

  • @Litzen2k And how do you eat them?

  • @TheAwesomeBart Eat them???

  • @Litzen2k After you shot it...

  • @TheAwesomeBart I just stated "Eat them???" in what I mean "Do you eat birds?" or more "Whats left to eat?"

  • @Litzen2k Sorry it was a joke, if you "hunt" this bird with a big rocket, what wil it do? Explode! BOOM! So what do you eat it if their is nothing left? The answer: nothing. So how do you eat them after blowing it up?

  • @TheAwesomeBart We dont. We just hunt-shoot-BOOM!-happyface .

  • @Litzen2k in Russia, birds hunt you!

  • @angelsfan4 *Soviet-Russia

  • @angelsfan4 Thats why we need these kinda weapons to protect us self against this coming threat.

  • @Litzen2k ooooh badass

  • @Litzen2k - Russian birds :-)

  • @SgtDrDeath Russian Armoured-Eagles ;)

  • @Litzen2k no... this is how we hunt people like you

  • @youkingrock1337 Like me?

  • @Mousetrapers you do realise that chances are that some of the soldiers in the video play COD too...

  • i love cod,subscribe for cod HD

  • @Mousetrapers what about xboxerfreak V down there
