Can someone explain to me why Megan entrusted the Rainbow of Light, which I remind you is one of the most powerful artifacts in Ponyland, to a baby pony as jewelry for a costume, when she should be well aware baddies could pop out at any moment and steal it?

@cb82fan But it bothers me that the plot could still proceed if the writers revised the scene so that Baby Moondancer is captured along with the locket in a more realistic manner, like if the locket being in a supposedly secured position but Baby Moondancer witnesses the theft and pursues Rex into Katrina's lair without much thought.

better quality than the first one - you can tell hasbro made some major moolah on MLP by this point. They could afford better animation, sound, etc... I miss the song katrina and Rep (Rex? I think it's Rep) sing about the past, though. It MADE this movie.

The what the crap look on Katrina's face when the rainbow comes at them is pretty funny. Its mainly funny that she's freaked by it because she throws people across rooms and threatens to drop them into pits of evil potion

This movie has been edited at 4:26! They cut out the part after the rainbow makes the snow melt and Rex sits down and pulls out his album and reminisce about when Katrina was good. There's a foreign version posted (My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina - Part 2/3 (SWE) ) that shows it at 1:48.

Sorry WRONG. I owned the toy of baby Moon Dancer. :D The only 2 baby unicorns I had were her and the blue one with the green and red hair that is in EVERY pony movie but that they never name. lol. You're right. I got Moondancer and Sundance mixed up. There was a toy pony called "Bowtie" but she was light blue with pink hair. Is the pony you are talking about, Ribbon?
