I just uploaded the 3rd act terzetto with Dam-Jensen, Sholl and Møller (who was dubbing Semmingsen that night, because Tuva was ill). I'll post some more clips soon.
I wish! :) I only listened to it on the radio. I also got comments from people who went there that night and learned that Tuva was sick and had to be dubbed. I had noticed that she didn't sound like herself. So she was only acting. It must have been mentioned before the broadcast but I don't know Danish, so... :) Andreas was also sick but he was singing.
There's practically no video footage yet - they've only just begun filming for the DVD - and Tuva's been indisposed for the past three performances, so it's her understudy that was heard on the radio (Oct. 11th)
You made a slight mistake at the end, my love: the last note at the bass should not be a low G but a middle E (the original "Fine" double bar was between them). I'm sure Händel is turning in his grave, right now, but he (and the guy from whom he probably stole that aria) will eventually forgive you, because of all the hard work your put into your videos. ;)
Yep, you're right, my love! Now all the YouTuber baroque players are gonna be performing this aria in error thanks to my lack of focus :'( Handel and his donor buddy will cast their curse upon me! I'm not worthy, I wanna commit myself, boohohoohoo :(((
You both are funny! Gave me a good giggle reading your postings! Well to talk of errors I was listen to the singing and seeing the score and said to myself why is he singing lower then I realized it was an alto clef! Duh!
Shame on you!! How dare you make a mistake! Now all the people in youtube with perfect pitch (millions of people have perfect pitch and they are all on youtube for what I've seen) will be terribly disappointed ;-)
Tell me about it! See my Agnus Dei with Scholl, they are all over it(and all the rest of the varied pitch performances of baroque music). Oh gosh, why oh why it doesn't fit the blasted score! For whatever they need the score when they have this "oh so perfect" pitch! Beats the dickens out of me, lol! :)
Thank you for posting this marvelous performance. Dumaux is a prodigious talent!
