  • what was the punishment of the man???

I couldn't hear it clearly through my crappy head-phone...

  • i think we should all be grown up about this and tolerate everyones' beliefs, in god, no god, or many gods. maybe there was just a big bang, or maybe god said let there be galaxy and planets and they were created. just saying dont judge people by wat they believe in.

    keep smiling :D

    -kimmi smiles

  • Poor Ricky doing satans work with no idea how subtle the devil is. And if you listen to the audience it get's even more sad they laugh and applaud.

Ricky I like you, please don't work for satan grow up! God does not liked to be made fun of. He might get angry with you and punish you PLEASE Believe me. I've studied the bible but am not religious. You watch out mate don't cross the line. An idiot abroad is fantastic good luck mate!

  • @Goldie450 Making funny jokes and Satanism are two different things; just because he approves of Atheism and doesn't believe in God doesn't mean he does "Satan's work". You're the one who needs to grow up.

  • who cares about the bible, this comic who was born "yesterday" is totally right. since were all so smart and can discern scripture that is older than most of us here, lets go MURDER,COMMIT ADULTERY, LUST, HATE, STEAL, DISOBEY PARENTS. CONTINUING BASHING THE BIBLE(don't know what its going to prove). In fact lets pick up where Emperor Nero left off and burn and kill all the Christians. the man that bleed on the cross for doing nothing, lets make fun of him some more- DON'T HATE ME, just a MONKEY

  • lol luv ricky

  • LOL so funny, just the way he says stuff. " one of your ribs ", One of the funniest stand ups ever!

  • Funniest satire I've ever seen.

  • I agree with his view, but his stand up is truly weak,.

  • its ok ... it just fun...but believe is smthing should never be mocked...whether that be true or fake...is not the question.

  • Darwin admitted when he was wrong

  • I am not a believer but you are not at all funny and your grammar is very poor.

  • Ricky's podcasts are the best.

  • Burn forever in hell or believe in Jesus

  • @fuckmania07 Going to my lollercopter now, cya!

  • @fuckmania07 read a books dont believe in jesus

  • @fuckmania07 hahaha jebus is funny, might as well believe in the cat in the hat or the moral teachings of harry potter.

  • @fuckmania07 stfu.

  • @BunzBundyTheMC Jesus would despise what Christianity was turned into only a few centuries after his death. Emperor Constantine established the Roman Church 313AD after being told by God (yeah right!) to slaughter 1000 Spartans. Who really thinks Jesus would have endorsed that kind of evil? Jesus was heavily inspired by Buddhist pilgrims from the East, no doubt.

  • if jesus forgave and healed such "abominations" as lepers, prostitutes etc, then why would the b ible give us such warper interpretations? how do i know for fact the ILLUMINATI aka the devil didnt get in and screw up half of that..how do iknow the devil aka THE VATICAN AKA THE POPES who have TAUGHT BLASPHEMIES TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND IT HAS BEEN PASSED ON BY SAUL....AKA PAUL THE APOSTLE>>the guy who was never christ appointed apostle>> managed to float these by for 2 thousand years?

  • point being, religion is some of the most judgemental condemning stuff i ever partook in...and no wonder i started feeling worse wheni got back into religion, i felt like a damn demon possessed me the past 6 months and for whaT? jesus himself was not for organized religion for what man would do to pervert it to his likening...all the "bible" is seemingly doing is making people fear god...not embrace his compassionate grace and mercy..thats why im pondering leaving religion..

  • I'm not sure what to believe at this point.. i believe in jesus as my lord god and savior,no doubt, the holy spirit and thethe hevaenly father, but ive noticed quite a bit of contadictions as of late...i respect the bible, but recently my faith in religion has been rocked...btw, did anyone know that jesus didnt promote religion or "christianity" for that matter? his was "the ministy of jesus"....he went against all "abominations"..he had abundant love and mercy, from prostitutes to homsexuals

  • I'm going to put it like this....when i was spiritual, my life was amazing, i began to love, forgive, everything felt amazing, i wanted to and did help others, everything came to fruit...but when i decided to get into my old roots of catholcism, everything went haywire, then tried converting to christianity, and the same hting happened..funny, cuz before i went back to "religion" i was a very happy, and kind and loving being...theni went to religion & f'n lost my mind and beat upmyself

  • genius.

  • he is so funny

  • 8:38, ... not REALLY a punishment for a snake :-)

  • all those who mock God will be shivering when the day of The Rapture arrives sooner than we think. Now is the time to repent people. Don't laugh at this over rated comedian as he mocks God. God still gives all of us time and when the time is up, we will all be judged accordingly.

  • @thetruegladiator Are you being sarcastic? I can't make out!

  • @thetruegladiator convince me that your concept of God is our God.

  • @thetruegladiator I love you

  • @thetruegladiator

What if I don't wanna be judged? Soldiers don't die, we go to Hell to regroup, we can never perish.

  • @TheGravitationist

Anyway back to the point im just trying to look at it objectively not sayiing anyone is right or wrong. I welcome your opinions...

  • @TheGravitationist

Something still had to cause it and the idea that there has just been matter floating around for ever seems highly doubtful to me. It had to come from somewhere and pluss not sure about you but I find it hard to comprehend so many things, time and space are both things that have to go on forever but at the same time to the human mind that concept is impoosible. Its things like that that really get me thinking about how much science can and will be able to explain.

  • @TheGravitationist

And thats purely because when I thik things through logically thats the oppinion i get to. But what I a trying to say is that I am open to others beliefs and enoying talking to others about what they believe. I really like being in a situation where every one can talk to each other openly and learn from each other. Thats all, I am not tryin to discredit science or the big bang. (I infact think the big bang theory is great) But if you go even further than that. .

  • @TheGravitationist

I understand my description of the big bang theory is very crude and my point is not to answere everything with "god did it", my point is (looking at it objectivley as someone who doesnt have a clear view on what I believe) you can't go round being rude to others and assuming anyone who is of a certain belief is dumb when at present there is nothing to prove them wrong. I personaly believe that its logical for there to be a greater power.

  • all atheists are PROBABLY GAY

  • A middle aged man calls himself 'Ricky'? Sheesh.

  • Get over it. The bible was written by man. You can say "DURR HURR INSPIRED BY GOD" But I could say the same thing.... Did you know there were other parts of the bible that DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT!?!?

Seriously people, I don't have imaginary friends, and neither should you.

  • It may not be a very accurate way to judge this, but seeing that on many of these "atheist" you tube videos have 20x more thumbs up than thumbs down, really does give me hope that the atheist community is growing more quickly than ever. I find it a pity that I was able to dismiss the thought of a God in middle-school, yet there are still drones of grown adults who believe in such non sense and fairy tales.

  • @LordBelial I'm happy to see this as well. It's nice to see that there are more rational thinkers. People are breaking free of the flawed religious way of thought. I think that in a few years there will be far more atheists and far less believers

  • @LordBelial While it's not as Ricky is more likely to attract atheists and less religious people I wouldn't be surprised to find out that atheism is the majority in many western countries.

  • Ricky Gervais = Legend

  • ‎"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

    ~Hebrews 4:12-13

  • @bigboyburnsy Words words words nothing else. By the same token you could have said "fat pinball machines borrow money from Betelgeuse" that would make just as much sense as your quote above.

  • @bigboyburnsy The bible teaches us to treat everybody equal and not judge anybody. Why is it that God frowns upon gays then? Why just gays? Are they not people too? With souls, organs and skin? Isn't God going against his own holy book and prejudicing gays?

  • @NickChim God doesn't frown upon gays, his wrath burns against them because homosexuality is an intrinsic evil, God, just like myself and many other real Christians who truly follow Jesus Christ as well as unbelievers who are righteous by Gods standards and not their own actually love homosexual people, its the sin of homosexuality that God and I myself hate. It's a sin cuz it goes against natural procreation with man and a woman. Two men cannot produce a baby and neither can two women.

  • @bigboyburnsy so homosexuality carries the same moral consequences as murder, since both would burn in hell? I don't understand how a caring God would send someone to burn eternally just because they don't love the opposite sex. God could easily find other ways to treat/punish those actions since He created the universe according to the Bible.

  • @NickChim Thus you're violating God's law. When man and woman make love its a very spiritual act and God is an that act as well i.e a baby being born into the world. How can it be a spiritual act if two dudes or chicks are getting it on, nah man, God doesn't want to see that and neither do I.

  • @bigboyburnsy You know the God wants then? Let me guess.. it says so in the Bible!

  • @jdunne04 Well the Bible is God's word. In the Old Testament prophets and other priests prophesied the coming of a messiah (Jesus the Christ) who would save us from the bondage of sin. These things were prophesied years before Jesus Christ was even born! God's word is absolute truth.

  • @bigboyburnsy Did you ever think it might have been written by men?

  • @jdunne04 yes but inspired by God, there were prophets and priests who lived Holy and righteous lives pleasing in Gods sight so he spoke through these priests and prophets through visions, dreams, etc. For example the prophet Isaiah prophesied the coming of Jesus Christ years before Christ was even born.

  • @bigboyburnsy So you are relying on men from very long time ago to tell you the truth. I imagine that's how the Koran and the Torah originated too. Are those books written by men that received visions from God? Isaiah mentioned there might be a messiah born of a virgin etc. Do you know how many people claimed to be the messiah 2000 years ago?

  • @bigboyburnsy The prophecies were self-fulfilling. There were multiple 'messaihs' during Jesus' time all trying to benefit from the writing in the Old Testament.

  • @bigboyburnsy If you're going to make up the fact that Jesus (Joshua, technically) was the messiah, then it's easy to make previous prophecies into fact. Anyone can look at an old prophecy and go, "Oh. The prophecy says a messiah will show up. Oh, look! Lets make that guy over there the messiah. THE PROPHECY CAME TRUE OMGZ" .... So saying the fact that the birth of the "messiah" was some prophecy that miraculously came true doesn't really make sense.

  • @druvirus I'm not making up a fact, its in scripture, look it up. Even Jesus himself opened up old scripture than pointed to him being the messiah, and he backed it up by what he did (miracles, healing the sick, raising from death) and by what he said.

  • @bigboyburnsy You're reasoning, first off, is that "It's in a book. That means it's true." So .. Hogwarts from Harry Potter is exists? That is, if I pointed at a Harry Potter book and called it "scripture" .. that automatically makes it true?

Secondly, .. Jesus called himself the messiah .. so that makes him right? So, can I point at the bible and go, "I'm the second coming of Jesus Christ." Because when people say "No, you're not." I can go "I totally am. See? It's in the book. Believe me."

  • @druvirus What you're saying doesn't make any sense, what makes the Bible false? All the places and even people in the Bible were real people, God performed all the miracles in the Bible, God can do anything that me and you could not even dream off with our human minds. This is why its more important to have a one-to-one relationship with God, yes the Bible is good, its God's word and its a good 'blueprint' to follow. No you couldn't point out that you are the 2nd coming of Christ because...

  • @druvirus Jesus Christ backed it up by all the events that happened, even Jesus himself predicted his own death and how he was going to suffer. Everything that was prophesied about him came true and was fulfilled through Jesus Christ. You on the other hand cannot back up that you are the Christ, even if you tried to fool me the Holy Spirit would convict me and give me discernment to know the truth.

  • @bigboyburnsy How do you know he predicted it? Because it was written down? Don't you know the authors of the Bible never actually met Jesus?

  • @bigboyburnsy if conceiving a child is so spiritual, then why does God allow for birth defects or mental abnormalities? Surely a loving God would not want this to happen. If it's a form of punishment to the parents' past sins, I fail to see why he has to torture to life of an innocent child to do it. If it is caused by evil's presence in the world, why would God not be able to stop it since He should be way more powerful? This is a main reasons why I've felt that a God doesn't truly exist.

  • @aztecsword12 I hope you don't mind me interjecting here. Suppose God didn't allow for birth defects or mental abnormalities, or indeed anything bad in the world to happen - would you be grateful or would you be oblivious because you wouldn't know of such bad things. An atheists point of view must be that a child is born with defects because thats the way things are science or otherwise-thats it. Surely only those that believe in God can start to ask such questions, else who can you ask?

  • @manchester0613 But surely a loving, powerful god would want the lives he just created to lead a normal life rather than let them keep those defects that doom them to a very swift death or leave them maimed or retarded for their entire life. This must mean that god is either not all-powerful or all-loving if he is willing to let such instances occur since he could easily fix them. Not saying a god doesnt exist, but that there seem to be flaws between what we believe and what exists.

  • I wish I could fly like normal ROFL ! this is Hilarious !

  • its no more plausible that some random matter just appeared out of no where and imploded on its self then exploded causing the universe to form than it is to say that there is a chance that there is a god. There had to be something here from the begining before anything else. There is so much science cant prove and that we cannot understand so no one can sit there and quesion someone elses Intellect just because they believe something different from you that just shows Immaturity.

  • @lotinga88

Your description of the Big Bang Theory is incredibly simplified and somewhat inaccurate. I recommend reading a science book or at least watching a video about it. The Big Bang is simply the most plausible explanation that we have at the moment. No one has absolute knowledge about the origins of the universe. It is true that science can't answer everything(at least not presently), however that does not mean we should simply answer every unanswered question with ''God did it''

  • @lotinga88 Followers of the three Abrahamic religions do not merely state that some form of intellect (note that intellect itself is a human concept in an overwhelmingly non-human universe) created matter and energy and time and space but that this same entity spends his time observing your fucking sexlife ...among other "important" events on a puny planet in a universe of billions of galaxies. R-go: the Abrahamic is simply way too small and way too human to be taken seriously as cosmic creator

  • lol what have your exams got to do with god? For that matter how does mans mans arrogance disprove god or religion lol. Im not necessarily religious but I think if you are going to think yourself Intelligent you have to be open minded and respectfull of what others believe. At the end of the day you can sit there are say you mus be dumb to believe in god but you can't disprove them as much as they can't disprove you.

  • @lotinga88

Yes, no one can disprove the existence of god, just like no one can disprove the existence of unicorns, but the burden of proof lies upon the person making the claim, not the person skeptical of the claim.

  • no matter how hard i pray Ive still got to take my bloody 4 hour chem and German exams tomorrow. Gods a load of nonsense... the human race is Farr to arrogant and violent to ever have or to ever have had a god.. Ricky does a brilliant job of revealing how bloody ridiculous the bible is let alone the complete and utter goons who follow religion..

  • hahahah his comedy routine is the bible ahhahaha

  • I wonder if you can make a woman out of a woman's rib. XD

  • Snakes had legs. Even science backs that up.

  • really funny - how on earth a christian can watch this, either be disgusted or chuckle along at the jibes - and then go back to what they were doing without thinking 'hang on a minute....' is beyond me.

  • 469 people belive in god

  • I absolutely love this guy

  • 10,707 likes gives me new hope for humanity.

  • bible is shit

  • ooo stop talking about the bible, this is sooo sooo funny!! i laugh my ass off

  • Believing in the bible, because you are too lazy to look for answer yourself, and too scare to accept the fact that we are irelevant in the universe. Anyone could create a religion and it would sound just as authentic as the bible, the koran, etc. The only difference is, its not as old and it didnt have enough time to be conditioned in the human mind through generations and wars of forced acceptance of its religious methods and laws. The truth is too hard to accept for some, so your minds negl

  • baozytools try learning proper English before trying to chirp

  • Where did the Singularity come from?

  • @RileyMiller1607 Scientists don't know. We may never know. It looks like you're asking that question thinking that, if we don't know the answer, then the only other option is "God did it." I hate to burst your bubble, but just because we don't know doesn't automatically mean God did it. ALL it means is that we don't know.

  • You have to remember that most people were illiterate in biblical times and spoke in a dead language so all of the interpretations and translations are just one long game of telephone. The bible should rest on a shelf next to Greek Mythology. You heathens will enjoy "Religious Fanatic tries to convert Atheist" on my channel.

  • and this doesnt really bother me because i believe what i believe and you can believe what you want, all im saying is when that day comes and your wrong, who is going to feel like the idiot then? and before you go and put down someone elses religion why dont you do a little more reasurch and maby explain exactly what you believe becasue im possitive that you will have just as much trouble.

  • @RileyMiller1607

    a) You obviously have no knowledge of any scientific theory on the origin of the universe.

    b) You obviously have no knowledge of any so-called "evidence" concerning the existence of Jesus of Nazareth.

    Educate yourself and try again.

  • @RileyMiller1607 A litteral interpretation of Genesis violates all scientific knowledge.

    Literalists are totally ignorant.

Faith is not enough..because you believe in the UNTRUTH!!

    and GOD IS TRUTH.

My religion accounts for GOD and all OBSERVABLE TRUtHS like those examined in science. I can explain it...but you wont understand in the 250 characters allowed in these responses.

  • there is more evidence that Jesus walked the earth then the 7th president of the United States even exsisted. and how can he chirp the bible? ya so it says God says let there be light and there was. how is that any different then the Big bang theroy?? that theroy states that there was a massive explosion of matter and all of a sudden there is a planet that can sustain human life? k.... where did the matter come from that made the explosion? explain that one.

  • @RileyMiller1607 No, the theory does not state what you say...

After the "explosion" it was 10 billion years before matter coalesced into the Earth.

10 BILLION YEARS!!!! The Earth ONLY 4 BILLION YEARS OLD!! So it took WAYYY longer than the earth has even been around!

The Matter that made the explosion came from the Singularity which erupted. Even if we said the matter came from GOD obviously the bible is WRONG in its account. All of a sudden my ass...you are so ignorant of basic truths.

  • @RileyMiller1607 "that theory states that there was a massive explosion of matter and all of a sudden there is a planet that can sustain human life"

    No, it doesn't.

  • plus he said the apple? where does the holy bible says apple? "FUCK UP" im glad im 22 and know more then this guy, gotta say it feels good :)

  • @drumbum4628 you don't know anything about physics or astronomy or Cosmology...

    hardly more than this guy..

  • @drumbum4628 If you don't know why he said "apple", then you obviously DON'T know more. An apple has been used to symbolize the forbidden fruit for thousands of years.

  • @stoicsquirrel i know that dumb fuck.....i know for hundreds of years "society" actually thinks an apple was the forbidden fruit......why do u think they use an apple for "desperate housewives" or "desiciones" but a person that is not ignorant will never say apple.

  • @MaxPlanck011 shitting on this guy is easier

  • this guy is a moron haha yea i'm gonna confirm my own "ignorance" with a comedian!!

  • god is punishing us(well adam and eve anyways) for not knowing any better(never knew good from bad till after they eat fruit) what a load of crap. Mon Atheism.

  • @konalime That would be like a mathematics teacher not believing in addition.

  • 0:36 Rickys look

  • I hate when people say religion is ridiculous and there is no God. There could be, it is just you see these idiots trying to defend it and it makes it look bad. I watched a documentary called "The Case for a Creator". Check it out.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 read the bible and tell me it is not insane

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Well if you think there could be a god then that means there could also be unicorns, pixies, elves or any other non evidence based nonsense !!

  • @happyhammer43 Yes there could but it is not likely. 99.5 percent of the world believe in God and the afterlife. Everybody knows all those things you know don't exist, it has been proven they do not. God has not been disproven. There is evidence for christianity. The Bible is a collection of written documents from the time of Jesus, they are like any other written document from history. Historians like Josephus and Tacticus have written about Jesus.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Rubbish you can't prove and it has never been proven that unicorns or whatever does not exist....the bible is a collection of non evidence based stories and as for your claim of 99.5 percent of the world believing in god that's crap and even if that was true it means nothing you cant prove god exists.....and don't tell me i cant prove that he does not as i dont have too........the burden of proof lies with the believer !!!!!!!

  • @happyhammer43 If the bible is a collection of stories then anything else in history is just a story also. They are written documents from many different people who lived in the time of Jesus. Statistics are that 99.45 percent of the world believe in an afterlife and God. Until those statistics change, do not run your mouth saying that it is crap.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 There are no written documents from anyone who lived in the time of your alleged jesus the bible is not a history book and your 99.45 percent claims are just laughable in the country of sweden for example 85 percent of the population are atheist in britain its 46 percent in france it is over 50 percent need i go on rubbishing your claims no i dont have to because they are complete nonsense because your so called statistics have just changed my friend !!!!!!!!!1

  • I realise you are sincere in what you are saying but you are simply wrong. A lot of the authors of the bible were there at the time of Jesus. John met jesus on many occasions. Historians like Tacitus and Josephus (Refereed as Christos) have written about Jesus. The Talmud mentions Jesus. As an atheist of course you are going to completely ignore all the evidence of the bible.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Evidence of the Bible...lol...where the fuk is the big boat?

how do you account for the fact that the Earth is proven to be 4 billion years old and NOT 6000 years like retarded literalist Christians believe?

  • Adamantly Jesus comes up in history on numerous occasions however it does not indicate that he was the son of god. There is no evidence for that. Never has there been found an actual account by Jesus himself and no more than 10,15 at most have written about him in history. This is not evidence and if it were true there would be far more accounts on the event. The Jews are the only possible decedents of anyone who lived during that era and even THEY say that the account is a complete fabrication.

  • @delic619 If the information in history is accurate than obviously he is the son of God for fullfilling such a old testament prophecy and ressurecting from the dead. There were over 500 withnesses of the ressurection who saw that the tomb was empty. People seem to think of the bible as just a book, it is not. It is a collection of poems, songs and historical documents from the time of jesus bundled together to tell the story of God.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 500 witnesses, we do not have 500 individual accounts of the rise of Christ. We simply don't, therefore it is not evidence. It is one of the writers of the testaments stating a highly improbable possibility. If you want to be stupid then believe it because there is no reason what so ever to even consider it. You seem to have a very strange understanding of evidence, indeed...

  • @delic619 You don't seem to realise what the bible is. It is 66 different books written by 40 different authors that focus on the same subject and it doesn't contradict itself. It is writter documents from 40 different people who either lived at or near the time of Jesus. Because there is 40 different authors and talk about Jesus outside the bible it is very accurate indeed.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Okay, you seem to mistake quality with quantity. The more books that were written, the more likely that some discrepancy will exist. If you can't find a discrepancy among the "66 different books", then you haven't read the Bible. A blind man could see some lines just don't add up.

  • @alexnzxVersion2

A talking fucking snake, I rest my case.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 The Bible contradicts itself all the time. Read about Jesus' last words. Every gospel has his last words being completely different.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 And i know what the bible is, I’m sure you know where the term 'prophet' came from? Another big miss understanding made by Christians, it means a poet to music. None of the so called prophets in the bible could for see events they were just poets and musicians. I recommend you read more about your case...

  • @delic619 Well first I have to say by looking at your profile pic you are one of these people who loves to bash christians and suck up to Richard Dawkins. Anyway, We have writers telling us things from a historic time, now what exactly is different from this and a writer saying he saw 500 people get killed in the holocaust? It is the exact same thing. Just because the Ressurection happened before it doesn't mean it is not right.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 There were over 500 witnesses...yet only one or two wrote anything about it. What are the chances?

  • @alexnzxVersion2 There are also tons of gospels that mention Jesus that weren't included in the canon. Are you saying that you accept those books as historically accurate, too? For example, the Gospels of Mary, Timothy, and Judas. I'm willing to bet that you DON'T accept those books as being historically accurate since they don't fit with the canonized gospels. Actually, the canonized gospels don't match, either.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 The problem with the Bible is that it wasn't written under the direct supervision of Jesus.

It was written by ignorant people 1700 years ago who didn't even know that illness is caused by bacteria and viruses ect...they knew so much less about the nature of the earth than we do.

They believed in stories that have no evidence and which are not testable.

God does not have to be incongruent with science....you just have to have the right understanding of GOD

  • Sciene sounds just as ridiculous as religion if i want to make it like that. There was nothing there and suddenly BANG! everything is there, sounds pretty stupid.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 2 of each of the billions of species of living things on earth all fit on an ark and had enough food and water for the entire length of the flood. That makes much more sense.

  • @blucas6 That has absolutely nothing to do with how the world was created.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Oh right, the way everyone was made is some bearded guy named Jebus snapped his fingers and BOOM everything was created

  • @blucas6 No, he intellegently designed everything it took him 6 days to do it.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 If you were intelligent you would know that created the whole universe, including trillions of stars, in just 6 days is practically instantly. He would have to at least be making tens of billions of stars an hour at that rate.

  • @blucas6 who told you that god created the world in 6 days? humans did. and why do they think that? because HUMANS said that god wrote the bible. anyone ever provided any evidence yet?

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Jesus is finally freed from the bible - Jesus wants to get rid of bible worship! Christ is sick and tired of believing 2nd Timoty and not Him! Go to the latest video of finalcall07 and all hating biblefornicators will have the shock of their life, and go to my channel where I prove that 95% of all Christians deny resurrection. Jesus is crying tears of relief, at last freed! He was a prisoner of the church 313-1516, and of the bible 1517-2010! The Kingdom will explode! Peace.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 Just because Science can't explain everything doesn't mean religion can. And I'm sure it's not as simple "There was nothing there and suddenly BANG! everything is there", there's probably more to it.

  • @alexnzxVersion2 You're right, that does sound really stupid. The Big Bang theory doesn't say that, though.

  • I thought Ricky was an atheist.

  • @jogeryjogo

    he is^^

  • I love this because it's done in such a way that both the religious and non-religious can have a laugh.

  • you aint got no pancake mix

  • Hahahahahah!

  • Brilliantly put together to create one of the greatest comedy monologues of all time and so full of detailed satire on the mad beliefs of millions of people.

  • The bible is essentially the same as Lord of the rings or Harry Potter, the only difference being some people are stupid enough to believe it is actually true.

  • @t0v3 what? are you implying that lord of the rings isnt true? =O

  • @t0v3 Are you saying Harry Potter isn't true? That sounds pretty blasphemous =P

  • @t0v3 are you trying to say that Harry Potter is not true?

  • Just saying the bible is considered a book of fiction....

  • Wow this clip has really brought the religious crazies out of the woodwork.

I love it when the deluded 'god needers' lecture non believers about having closed minds. Such Irony.

  • Comedy is my religion, and Ricky is my God, Amen.

  • there is only one thing wrong with what ricky states in this brilliant performance... we don't come from apes... we are slightly more evolved apes, which is a completely different thing!!!

  • gervais is a comedic god ;)

  • @luckypearly So he doesn't exist?

  • @luckypearly and accounts of GOD from the western religions are pure comedy!!!

  • it annoys me like hell that most atheists are smug cunts, even tho i am athiest

  • @t7easy1

    That seems rather smug.

  • @Schlicht lol what

  • His difficult "Third Series" nice reference to a season never made :/

  • I love Ricky Gervais for finally pointing out that religion is RIDICULOUS.

  • @hippomonster3

you're absolutely right! Thanks to him, someone finally pointed that out.

Without Ricky we would be lost forever in the neverending darkness that is called religion.

Maybe the light that Ricky has shed on this subject will one day make it o.k. for people to not believe in a God.

  • @hippomonster3 - He's has long enough to think about it. He studied philosophy in University. :D

  • @hippomonster3 so is science. All the world came together through a big bang. A big bang

  • @hippomonster3 so is science. All the world came together through a big bang. A big bang! A bIG BANG

  • @hippomonster3 George Carlin did it more than 10 years ago.

  • @hippomonster3 Not all religions fall under that umbrella...Semetic religions surely do..

Buddhism/Sikhism/Taoism of the east account for a GOd that is totally congruent with the natural sciences.
