  • tahnk you for a beautiful music !! i love it

  • Awesome post. I have been following him since 91 and have found almost a "fourth" dimension that I haven't heard elsewhere. One of my most favorite things to do is to play this song in my headphones and around 4:06, I close my eyes and turn up the volume, and see the music! Thanks again!

  • imho, one of the best of anything I've heard by him so far.

  • The solo at 4:05 is amazing, the bass line... thanks for posting this!

  • My most favorite song ever!! I love how each instrument has its chance to climax toward the end. I also love how they do the partnership of two instruments while switching the second one during the middle of the song!

  • If only Oprah would have invited Oystein and his band to the show... The rest of the world deserves to also know this fabulous music! But ah, Gayle didn't whisper it in her ear because Gayle has never heard it, bummer.

  • What is this type music called?

  • Who in their right mind could dislike this??? Never heard anything so

    beautiful and relaxing.

  • I bought the album in the late 1980's and still love it very much.

When Oysten released this album, he wrote this dedication - "My profound wish for this album is that it will inspire you on your path to your inner source". Listening to his music certainly makes it easy to focus on one's inner source.

Another great work from this album is "Norwegian Mood". Can some one please upload a clean copy ... there is only a ballet performance with that song on You Tube.

  • increible este musico....maravilloso

  • We've been Sevag fans for 12+ years. Saw him at Lisner in DC @ a performance called "Dance of the Auroras," after which we talked with him & his wife who plays violin. Hard to describe his music; new age? Jazz? Hard to describe, but a great composer...

  • Is there something more beautiful than sound of rolling in waves? I dont think so. :) Then that beauty turns into the electrifying music. Love it. Love it and love it a lot. Thank you for posting it on YT.

  • fabulous and has a special impact of getting rid of all stress in me

  • this song givme power : >

  • thats great

  • Check out the album called "Visual" by Oystein Sevag and Patti Lakkey (spelling may not be right) It is wonderful.

  • I got hold of this CD from some library in northwest suburbs of Chicago. Made a cassette copy, I could not burn it back than. The whole CD is full of great tracks. Every time I listen to it, I want to grow wings and fly :)

  • Just to clarify: This is the opening track from Close Your Eyes and See, which was produced in the years 1987 till 1989 and released in 1989 or 1990. The album released in in 1993 was Link (which is also stunningly brilliant, while quite different in several ways).

Good work in posting this up here so that more people can become acquianted with this music.

  • Thank you very much for your comments on the clip, and for the new information you are giving us about the release date of this magnificent Oystein Sevag's track... and excuse me for giving bad information: I thought that it was right. Now, information is updated ;-)

  • Yeah, we were definately chilling to chill out in 'Chill out' tents (lol) in '89 '90 '91 and '92 and kind of ever since :D great music though!

  • what kind of music is this then mate?

cos i heard this tune in a chillout mix someone did.

well good, nice and ch ch chilled

  • Hi,

Maybe you've found it on a Chill Out compilation, but this music was released in April 27, 1993 in a Oystein Sevag's work called "Close Your Eyes And See", so it was composed before the Chill Out era.

Even if I don't like badges to describe music, it was called New Age music. I like it very much.

  • no i mean its in a litle mix someone did on youtube.

thats quite jokes, so this was before the so called chillout era began.

have you heard of nightmares on wax? considered to be the masters of chillout, except i dont know what years they began!

by the way, you say 'chillout era' but i believe you may be incorrect - as the first massive attack and groove armada albums were releaed in the early 90s.

  • thats cool

  • Hi, and thanks for you comment ;)

No, I'm not a proffessional, this is just a hobby for me.

These pics were all taken on the shore I live.

Some of them are HDR images made from three photos of the same subject taken at different exposure.

Some of them are just photos, no special treatment

The very last one is a design made on paper, scanned on my Pc and finished with photo software.

  • Very nice imiges. Is this a hobby or are you professionist?

  • Thanks for your comment ;)
