you really don't see musicians like ryan key and yellowcard anymore. i swear, i haven't heard one post-hardcore or metalcore musician utter the words "staccato" or "octave" in years. yellowcard is probably the last band around that still remains true to what they do: no autotune, no drum replacements or triggers, just everything recorded as it is, for what it is. I'll always love this band

But the fact is that people like Dr Luke, Steph Germanotta, David Guetta and all the others are adapting to change they're creating something new and amazing from simplicity and whacking in some slyly incredible musicianship.

@CamNacson i really wish people listened to what real music was. bands like yellowcard, rise against, and other bands that had a real unique message in their music. songs today that people (i am going off kids in my high school) only listen to rap and hip-hop where the primary meaning of the song is either sex, alcohol, drugs, and killing people. im sick of it and i want real music to come back. im not saying they are talentless, just that there is no noticable point to the song
