Hell, I saw Sammy as a solo act opening for Boston circa 1978 at the Civic Arena in Fayetteville, NC - He blew the house cown and I've been hooked on everything he's done since! BTW, he played an electric log at that show and shredded away. He always played down his own guitar skills when asked about it as a member of Van Halen. I have always liked each style but my favorite time was when he was in videos around these years.
