Why do we allow the US Administration to profit off of Afghan opium fields?
The US troops are telling us that they are commanded to protect the Afghan opium fields, which inevitably will go on the market for 19 million dollars a barrel.

Ireland has been flooded with Heroin since the "invasion" of Afghanistan. Many of my friends who use ahem, "recreational drugs", are complaining bitterly that marijuana and hashish trafficking has been heavily targeted, while Heroin hasn't. There has been an explosion in use among young people.
Heroin makes more money world wide than oil, I've read. Do you think the US is just going to let someone else make all those profits? heroin money is probably the real reason they are in Afghanistan
