How to open .rar files on your mac for free

ok look i downloaded a file on mac store named 7z-rar and every time i down load a app from the internet like frost wire it docent let me open it like it just makes a copy and docent install it to my laptop

@edenobrien - No need for any passwords, simply open unrarx and drag the first rar file into it and it starts to work its magic. after unrarx is finished if the video does not play (assuming its a video file) use handbrake to convert it.

Sorry, used the program and it says 'ALL OK', but where are the extracted files?! I click on the rar file and it just repeats the process again instead of opening into a new folder full of the songs!

@mepea09 OK... ive just had the same thing.... worked it out! if you open unrarx then go to browse find the file, open it, then ask it to extract in desktop, then click extract.. the file will appear!
