  • should have been titled how i almost made my wife a widow

  • Nice chainsaw carving been done there, i would have just got a winch and pulled it down, a "sitter" is a dangerous tree, best to get it down as quicky as possible before it turns into a widow maker lol

  • OMG, 1.55. If a decent kickback would occurred, you'd no more had hands... neither of them.

  • you should rename this vid to.. how to move a tree 3 meter sideways lol

  • Tough call when it's already leaning on others, but it looks like all worked out OK. Good deal there were at least 2 guys there at all times. A thumbs up from me!

  • In response to the description, in the first cutting, a long line (MUST BE AS LONG AS TREE IS TALL + SAFETY MARGIN!) tied as high as you can get it pulled away from the snag by a tractor or decent truck, notch, backcut, down. After first unsuccessful "cutting," chain/strap choked to the base of tree and attached to tractor/truck. Give it hell. Down. Be sure the tree doesn't stick in the ground and try to lever over and kill you when you pull on the base.

    Love the vids. True entertainment!

  • beginning*

  • Epic laugh at the end lol

  • [00:25 second mark] Must be what they mean by a "stand" of trees. : - )

  • none of you should ever use a saw again and if you do have lots of life insurance

  • When a saw gets pinched in a cut like that, you should remove the saw from the bar to avoid having it crushed.

  • @SurefireWoodsman yes, sometimes you have to do that, a bent bar is better than a smashed saw.

  • This is scaring me to death, can't watch anymore.

  • i love these guys. only 30 thou views, shame on you tubers. i love these guys

  • TNT is much more effective!

  • go get the dang pick up and pull the bottom out

  • Next time - call a prof, - please :-) you live longer...

  • This should have been called, "how to nearly get yourself killed".

  • Comment removed

  • Have you ever noticed that the guy with the biggest saw will always try to make his first cut at shoulder height and on the up hill side of the tree?

Camera man! After all that time you ran instead of getting the shot? Why? The tree spared you for all that time. I'm sure it would have danced around you at the very last moment.

  • You guys are sure lucky you were cutting an honest tree. Despite your best efforts to die it went out of it's way to spare you. Many trees would have chopped all of you as soon as you fired up that little green boat anchor.

  • Haha.... you guys are awesome but if you were working for me I would have fired you the second you started making your first cut with that ridiculous saw. Next time hire someone who has a clue or your gonna end up dead!

  • 4:00, Oh God, the moron has finally figured out how to kill himself! No, didn't work, again. This video is conclusive proof that guardian angels exist. Why, however, do they spend their time saving morons?

  • I suggest moron no 2 props a ladder against the tree and climbs up about twenty feet. Make your "last cut" there.

  • If these morons live long enough, they'll kill themselves for sure!

  • there was no need of a bigger chainsaw.....they just needed a bigger brain!!!

  • How to do everything wrong and not get killed, too. You guys were all very, very lucky.

  • Haha thanks to the big redneck with the big boy saw

  • Morons

  • These 2 videos had me laughing fit to bust ,,, your commentary is hilarious!

  • It's amazing how people can buy quality tools and still be unable to cut a fucking tree properly...

Attach a long rope to the bottom and pull it with a tractor, there's nothing to get hit from it if it falls the wrong way.

  • can you believe these tits

  • At least he brought a real chainsaw a Stihl!!!!!!!!! yeah buddy!!

  • @MrMixedGas Stihl? A real saw? A Stihk might be good for cutting bread, not timber. Husqvarna and Jonsered, need Isay more?

  • Good thing it missed the bottle of coke.

  • wow your saw must be dull

  • Pull it down with a tractor. Use a long chain.

  • tha tha thats all folks

  • These dudes need to pick up "Timber Falling for Dummies"

  • From what I saw, there was nothing in danger of getting hit by the tree if it fell on its own. You should have left it. Otherwise, two cuts in the sides of the trunk to form a sort of S, attach a 30 ft rope at the cuts and snap it sideways. Repeat till down. Best to leave it to pros.

  • The 3 Stooges could have done better.

  • In 20 years of professional timber falling, I gotta tell you... this was painfully funny to watch!

  • haha that chainsaw is totaly SHOT

  • After the first cut fail, wouldnt it have been easier to just wrap a chain around the base and pull the bottom out with a pick up or tractor ???

  • fell it right and there is only a first time...

  • Better drink beer than energy drink.

    Beer gives inspiration.

  • how many different idiots does it take to cut down a tree

    wow cutting above his head

  • how many different idiots does it take to cut down a tree

  • atleast they nver thought of cutting the other tree where it is leaning

  • right where I was standing HAHAHAHAHAH

  • I don't know falling but I know stupidity when I see it. and This is class A prime stupidity.

  • Im switching to pepsi.

  • You just don't cut down a leaning tree unless you know what you are doing or are rock dumb.

Trees move faster than people, btw.

  • that poor poulin saw has sure caught some hell from these guys...a widow maker...

  • YOGI BEAR in the woods laughing his nuts off

plus you missed the stihl on the ground pity you dident hit it

  • There are so many things wrong going on here! Glad nobody was injured but I'm sure they'll find a way eventually.

  • @transam139 i was scared watching that lol and cut lots of trees please just call a pro lol .. that wasent even like close to a house or power lines so a pro would have come out and wacked it down for 50 -100 $ and left you the log for fire wood to cut up your self to get that timber jack experience..lmfao..shakes head

  • @smartmonkey777 I sure would, like trees which are like that, some differant to the normal tree drop

  • theres a part 2!!!

  • you guys are doing so much wrong. is darwin knocking on your door?

  • poulan chainsaws are ... not the best

  • The proper name for a tree like this is "Widowmaker" you now know way.

  • Everybody loves Raymond the lumberjack filmer

  • Know what species of tree that was? Chuck Norris Pine. That's why it was so tough to kill.

  • why are you useing cross to prie at the tree

  • why are you useing cross to prie the tree

  • WHERE IS HIS HARD HAT???????????

  • why would he fool around right in front of the tree with another stump right behind him?... he's almost calling for the tree to kick out and crush him lmfao...

  • Using a throw line, you should have put a rope up in the top of the leaner. Next cut a notch on the left side of the tree towards what appears to be an opening. The attach the other end of the rope to a truck, winch, or have some guys pull it towards the clearing. Then make your back cut on the right side of the tree, cutting slow so that the truck/winch/men can begin to pull it over... Much safer this way. Hope this advice helps!

  • was waitin to see who got the tree fall on em..they all dserved it to squash em after watching this..stupidity of some peopl, never ceases to amaze me :-D

  • jus watched part 1..Now part 2?..Oh My Days!!! Moronz!!!

  • i take out trees i dont want by just having chuck norris come over to my house and roundhouse kick them down- easiest way...hope that helps

  • Very confused.... no protection at all, then you have an older guy come in and do a double notch? and apparently he can't use his big saw anymore. It's idiots like these who make this trade so life thretening. Seriously people... call a pro. Even though I've been doing this 11 years i'm not GOD!!! and don't plan to visit him anytime soon. Wake the F up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It just wasn't ready to die yet.

  • Cut.. replant... cut .. replant !!

  • That is a tough way to get experience. And what is this Cut a little, and turn around to look at the camera? Do the chainsaw guys think the camera is going to make the tree go down? All here were lucky to end up with a working chainsaw and no cuts in their legs or arms. No comment about the inteligence.

  • do you just chop down trees for the hell of it?

  • not trying to be a dick, but you guys are lucky you didn't hurt or kill one of yourselves

  • what the second guy did ...a dam beaver would not do that sort of thing...you have to climb a healthy tree...establish a down rigger system (stein etc.) and cut and down rig the rotten tree bit by bit...lest you prematuraly want to meet your maker...you uploaded your clip...what on earth prevented you from watching some of the tutorial clips on professional tree work?

  • @tscholent "...a dam beaver would not do that sort of thing..." damn thats funny i lol so hard

  • the same dam thing happened to me but i ended up taking the tree that it was leaning up against down...thats why you should have it fall away from trees hahaha

  • this is super dangerous man

  • "I might be a little older than you, but I can f*cken run!"....lol

  • 0:58 he sounds like "the dude" in the big lebowski

  • you need big tractor

  • Am surprised no one was hurt. Instead of a friend with a bigger chainsaw you should have got one with a winch and winched it down.

  • Nice looking firewood... Feel free to give me a call next time- I could have got it in one.
