people get hurt during hurricanes, destroys homes. who is she?? I agree if she is not into Yellow Springs than she should, as they say, tally ho. this one has seen much of the rest of the world , i would guess, and if she has, she has not gained much from it. people helping people is what counts and Yellow Springs has an abundance of that.
I was in Columbus when this happened. It enjoyed the feeling of comradery that it inspired, and how I got to know people better. I enjoyed watching this video and thought it was very well done. Thank you for making this.
What a snarky twit. The villagers did not freak out, they helped each other out, made the best of it, and were cheerful and pleasant. If you don't like YS, leave.
I'm glad somebody did some filming of this. I was on Kelleys Island the day of the storm and drove home through the aftermath the next day. I kept thinking I should get out my video camera and post something on Youtube, but like most people I was busy with "getting by" without electricity. Oh, and "three hours"? Our electricity was off for five days!
@GibsonAndVega ....a 65 unit apt. building in Xenia, was without power for 6 days 3 story, elderly, disabled tenants, no hallway lights, no elevator, people taking insulin by candlelight, pitchblack in the whole building no help from mngment, when a former cop and a city councilman accidently discovered what was going on, only then was help sent. The mayor at the time, came out and remarked that she didnt even know the place was there.
