It's about a girl with freckles this man met long ago in the northern country. He dumped her then but he still has a fond memory and cares about her. It's a beautiful song.

Shigeru Suzuki is the man! Such Style! This is absolutely the best era in Japanese Music. Your not going to find anybody out there doing it like they did it then. I wish I could have seen Tin Pan Alley live. Damn!
