This performance is amazing, and LeRoi's solo on this is one of his best. He shines so bright, and this performance captures what i miss of him the most- such soul.
I was just thinking the same thing man. His death is the hardest thing that has ever hit me. As you said, knowing that we will NEVER hear anything that is even close just kills me
This song means so much to me. I once or twice looked for a video recording of this performance, since I have the song released in the Central Park Concert Bonus CD. It chills my spine.
As much as I love the Dave Matthews Band, I have a hard time imagining it ever being as great without LeRoi. His horn wove through each song like a silk thread and bound all the parts together into so brilliant a sound. God bless him always, and may God bless the band.
Oh LeRoi! If you only knew!! I watch this now. I am crying like a baby. I have seen you play more times than I can count. You were so much a part of DMB. It will never be the same. Play it still. Play it in heaven. I will hear you again. RIP
To me....it just seems like the members in this band are just too strong to pass away. its so unreal. i dont think i will ever get used to this. RIP LeRoi
Hopefully He's Playing With The Big Man!

I could sit around and look at these DMB videos all day long. Simply the best live band ever.

His "gift" made up all of the difference.
